Not only was Justin Trudeau attached at the hip with China but so is Carney, and one could say some Ministers that Carney has kept. Why in the world would Canadians want a Prime Minister who (i) undermined the UK, as the Governor of the Bank of England, by “facilitate[ing] the Bank of China’s global expansion. In a 2013 speech, Carney announced that the Bank of England had signed an agreement with the People’s Bank of China to support the internationalization of the Renminbi, describing it as a global good.”[1]
