President Trump continues to reverse some of the Obama Era policies and actions. Thank goodness. In Nevada, Obama expanded just one Monument (not a park) by more than 1,000 square miles. In total, he increased federal lands by more than 1 million acres. By designating or expanding federal holdings, he removed a state's right to govern their own land.
