We knew when Trump won the election in 2016 that there was going to be the Devil to pay, the swamp was going to rise up. And rise they did, even before he took office. But we are now a bit taken back by the level of intensity, the never ending accusations, by every form of political and bureaucratic debris. They have thrown everything at this president they can find for mere numerical value. Trump has indeed disturbed the nest of biting swamp flies, both lords and ladies. And they are determined to protect their rice bowls.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
