I decided I’d attend a soiree hosted by a very good friend running for a judgeship in Baton Rouge. I normally don’t get involved with people too much. I spent too many years working in law enforcement to not recognize many people seeking my counsel were looking for loopholes in the law and I don’t really care for the idea of being used.
