Subverting the Constitution: The National Popular Vote BillAfter the Democrats were stung by losing the last presidential election, they found a way around the Constitution without holding a constitutional convention to amend it - the National Popular Vote bill. The National Popular Vote bill requires all electors to cast their vote for the candidate who wins the national popular vote. To date, 12 states have passed the bill into law- (CA, CT, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA) - with a total of 172 electoral votes. The bill will subvert the electoral system after it's approved by the number of states required to equal 270 electoral votes. If they reach the goal of 270 electoral votes, hard working patriot Americans will lose their voice in presidential elections. The problem is that Democrats have a subservient group of voters who are dependent on them for handouts and welfare, and Democrats are experts at rigging elections. Although the Democrats promote the bill by claiming it will strengthen democracy, America was not founded as a Democracy. What democracy means to Democrats is one party rule.
