I have seen the school system in the US from the point of parent, room mother, education reporter for newspaper, member of strategic plan team, and taxpayer. The news is not good.
First as parent I was the brainwashing, using group hypnosis on 9 year olds. Then Maslow group therapy on whole 5th grade, by a teacher. Maslow called it dangerous and said only in licensed therapist office.
I saw documents kids were told to not tell parents about or take home, which involved values clarification.
Meanwhile, the kids IQ dropped the longer they were in school, and that was before masks. In fact, the IQ has dropped several decades in a row in the US. They do not learn science, math nor English, not enough time, they are shopping for cheapest abortion in health class!
This has been going on big time since Clinton and outcome based ed, which Britain told him caused brain drain in UK.
Teachers and principals have told me they hate reading! They know education theory, but not subject matter.
McD workers in high school somethimes cannot count change out of the drawer, after the amount is shown on the register! Concentration is soratic. They will be taking an order, you see their eye space out, then come back into focus, during which time they have no idea what you said. They never question liberal dogma, as that would require research, something they avoid.As far as climate, Grobachev put teh Green religion in US schools teaching faux science after teh Reagan yers, it just grew from then on. The UN is getting what it wants in the coming generations. The teachers are now at an average I! of a mere 110, sadly, so are the medical professionals. No critical thinking skills. I am not sure it can be saved.mann

As goes the Family so goes the Children.
As goes the children so goes the Nation.
That is why governments have been destroying the Family Unit.
Unless mans churches return to Gods Patter for His Church and Families
there is no hope that things will change in the foreseeable future.
But there is something that can make a difference.

Dr. Paugh is right on with her description of today's "education" system except for her dates. Actually
American Ed was destroyed by President Lyndon Johnson's Elementary and Secondary Education
Act of 1965. That’s when the left-wing
radicals got the big money to change
our education system into a Socialist
Propaganda Institution for children.

The last sentence of this article states...
"Unless we reverse this educational trend of destruction and start training and hiring teachers and administrators, who respect and understand our constitutional republic and our history, there is no fixing America’s decline."
I believe that there have been at least two generations of destruction that have passed, that I do not conceive there are enough teachers and administrators alive to be able to fill the positions needed to accomplish the fixing of Academia.
Not to mention being outnumbered by the Communist Marxists!
