Dear Editor,
Jill Stein was “on to something” regarding the security of our 2016 election. However, it really wasn’t what she thought it was.
With just the limited recount in 2 states we saw the largest urban city (Detroit) have difficulty in reporting and balancing their vote tally. It appears that there were more votes than ballots given out. Isn’t anybody worried about this? Should poll workers be allowed to close out and go home if the tally doesn’t match (they can’t here)? We also know this problem has existed since the 1960 election when the Chicago vote was suspect (or 2008 vote in Philadelphia).
