You owe them, Joe. You owe them for the freedom they left all alive today with the cost of their very lives. You owe each and every soldier, sailor, airman, marine who, when the chips were down, went out into the far too many war zones of the world, in service of their much beloved country.
You owe every heartbroken mother, every heartbroken wife who waited for a son or husband who never came home; every sad loved one who keeps on the mantelpiece a photo of the one who never returned, not just for each passing Memorial Day hypocritical photo-op, but every day of the livelong year in a mourning that never quite fades away.
Democrat-appointed President Biden owes them all because he so cavalierly ditched the freedom for which the war dead laid down their lives for all of us still here.

It's sad to think our leaders think this appropriate.

The discussion in this column is absolutely critical to the future of the United States and Canada. So many gave their lives that you and I can live free. That sacrifice is being ignored today.
I want to add to the list of spectacular military cemeteries around the World the military cemetery in the Philippines. The cemetery is on a slight rise in the land and can be seen from all directions. Located near Manila, it is easy to access.
The cemetery was dedicated in 1960. It is immaculate, and all the trees, grass, and hedges are neatly trimmed. Each grave is marked with a white stone cross. There are 17,202 of them, honoring the Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Marines killed in New Guinea, the Philippines, the South Pacific, China, India, and Burma.
In the center of the cemetery is a chapel that contains the names of 36,285 of our military who are still missing in action.
Yes, we owe our military a tremendous debt of attitude. Sadly, the dedication and beliefs these thousands and thousands died for are not being taught to our young people.
As adults, we should all be ashamed we have not instilled a high level of patriotism into our youth.
