2016 presidential race will be nail-biting, frustrating, both back-biting and back-stabbing, and long before it’s over, even soul-searing---but not fun

2016 election will be anything but fun

Something’s not right. (Pun fully intended) With a voice ringing out with barely restrained pulse-racing excitement, Sarah Palin endorsed Donald J. Trump for president yesterday, breathily adding about the coming election: “It’s going to be so much fun!” Running the risk of being shot down by a trillion digital smiley faces, some dare to suspect that Election 2016 is going to be anything but “so much fun!”
The Palin Trump endorsement came on the same day that Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough 111 revealed that emails on Hillary Clinton’s “unsecured”, “homebrew” server contained intelligence from the U.S. government’s most secretive and highly classified programs, according to his unclassified letter to senior lawmakers. (FoxNews, Jan. 19, 2016) ...”It laid out the findings of a recent comprehensive review by intelligence agencies that identified "several dozen" additional classified emails -- including specific intelligence known as "special access programs" (SAP). “That indicates a level of classification beyond even “top secret,” the label previously given to two emails found on her server, and brings even more scrutiny to the presidential candidate’s handling of the government’s closely held secrets.” The mainstream media would have you believe that Hillary will be led off in handcuffs any day now, an image millions would see as a final ‘That’s all, folks’ kind of fun. Written off in the narrative will be all the smiley faces completely caught up in the current wave of euphoria that Palin didn’t just join him for pizza but is officially in the Trump camp. One way or the other, whomever survives the primaries on the Republican side will be facing off with escapee-from-justice Hillary Clinton. Boy, what fun!

With or without Sarah Palin’s support, there is no guarantee that any so-called outsider populist will make it past the Republican Establishment’s firewall. For all we know, a trailing Jeb Bush could make a Lazarus like comeback from the politically dead. That the Dems will simply roll over and play dead now that some Republican contenders prove that they are willing to eat one of their own, is the fairytale vortex the mainstream media is leading all smiley faces into. The Dems OWN the running dog media; with social media at their beck and call, OWN the election, and believe they OWN not just their Rush Limbaugh-identified “low information” voters but all voters--starting in ethanol dependent Iowa. There’s been no reason for fun during the more than seven long laugh-less years under the Fundamental Transformation of America-obsessed Barack Obama; no fun at all since the Republicans threw in with the Democrats following the last Midterm elections. Who other than the Marxists can be really claiming to have “fun” with the entire Western world now on a leftward goose-step march? It isn’t just in America where civilian populations are being routinely instructed to break out of their collective “culture of fear”, to open their hearts, handbags and hearths to thousands of needy ‘refugees’ who mean them no harm. ‘The Breakaway from The Culture of Fear’ propaganda is coming at humanity from all sides, including from the 1-billion Catholic strong Vatican where Pope Francis repeatedly warns: “(W)e have to bring up our young people to think and speak respectfully of other religions and their followers, and to avoid ridiculing or denigrating their convictions and practices. We all know that mutual respect is fundamental in any human relationship, especially among people who profess religious belief. In this way, sincere and lasting friendship can grow.” (Vatican, 2013) The Marxist-spawned Culture of Fear is all but drowning out the survival instinct in Europe, including in Germany where Mayor of Cologne Henriette Reker suggests after the New Year’s eve sexual assaults and rapes that women should have a code of conduct, including maintaining “an arm’s length distance from strangers”. In America it’s now as close as the country next door where the newly-elected lib-left Prime Minister Justin Trudeau challenged voters in his election campaign to “show (Prime Minister Stephen) Harper “that fear and division won’t work here, “not in Canada.” We’ve heard all along that Donald Trump is, if nothing else, a “deal maker” par excellence, proof of which came last night with his proudly announced Palin endorsement. Sarah Palin is arguably the left’s biggest and grossly unfair smear project. Stabbed in the back by her own running mate John McCain in 2008, ostracized and made a pariah by the lib-left in her lifetime, only “The Donald” could bring Palin back to the big picture of politics. “Sarah’s baaack!” The fairytale has come full circle eight years later. But fairytales, the stories with which we read our little ones to sleep at night, don’t often happen in real life. Meanwhile, the 2016 presidential race will be nail-biting, frustrating, both back-biting and back-stabbing, and long before it’s over, even soul-searing. But one thing it won’t be, Mama Grizzly, is a “lot of fun!”
