A Strutting Devil Is Now Feeling In Control

All of you who are familiar with my commentary are likewise familiar with my utter contempt for television. I quit the tube nearly 40 years ago, and 'I've never looked back.' When I did that, my friends were looking at me in bewilderment and asking me, "How in the world do you survive?! What do you do with your spare time?! How can you and your family stand it?!" And only a week into that self-imposed 'fast', I began answering them in candor and complete sincerity saying, "I have my life back! I am beginning to live my life in spontaneity, day by day! It's marvelous, you really should try it!" Often, the friends of mine who had overheard the chatter from the gossip chain told me that I was the subject of great concern. Some of the people accused me of overmuch Christian zeal, and that my move of complete abstinence was the result of some kind of hyper-Christian paranoia. But the truth was that I was simply tired of living my life vicariously through the attention-capturing one-eyed idiot that was beginning to ensnare my sweet children's minds as well.

Mass Exodus From Sanity 

I have been 'tv-free' long enough to have fully witnessed the mass exodus from sanity which we are now seeing all around us in our television-controlled nation. I so often bring up the television because it has become a downright evil-laden vehicle for the broadcast, universal programming of a formerly fairly united and determinedly freethinking nation. Today, the very real adversary of our souls is absolutely using that device to completely mesmerize, brainwash and control millions of adults who used to solely rely upon their own, educated frontal lobes for the direction and decisions they applied in carving out their own destinies. A growing mob--the young adults of today's world, the completely impressionable children of just a few years ago--have not ever had the opportunity to mentally and spiritually 'breathe free'. But instead, the tv has served as the regular babysitter used by lazy or desperately working parents who seem ignorant or careless about the prevalent filth and bad language where once "Leave It To Beaver" was the common fare on the airwaves. I just dated myself, I know.

My prefacing remarks open up the main theme of what I desperately need to address: Today the audiovideo 'cyber-world' which was built largely around the pre-existing corded telephone, radio and television, has become the eyes, ears, and fingers for the very real devil to completely run his business in all three dimensions. More and more Americans, indeed all of mankind, are finding themselves literally beneath the yoke of a terribly intrusive and uncompromisingly demanding taskmaster. That slave driver is the massive computer network that monitors and often controls nearly every moment of our formerly private lives. And, so many people, just like the 'sheep' that our Lord compared us to, are quietly knuckling under to that tyranny. People like Eric Snowden and Julian Assange have been imprisoned and exiled for having exposed the crooked politicians and eavesdropping computer operations which have been cranked up since GW Bush went off and left the loaded gun of 'Homeland Security' on the table for any tyrant to come along and use. Prior to the HSA our existing laws were more than sufficient to do everything that the HSA does now - only without all the bureaucracy and agents involved. Effectively, we now have our own KGB right here in America. And that is something worth fearing.

But the very real devil absolutely knows how to draw a crowd, tickle our ears with what we want to hear

From the beginning of this world, which good science completely documents as being no more than 6000 or so years of age (cue the laughter), God has stressed to us that He owns and is, in His personage/character (what I call), "all the 'omnis'. God's all-encompassing "I Am" is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, etc., etc. He, Isaiah 45:15 informs us , hides from His creation. He wants us to exercise our much atrophied 'faith muscles' when we petition Him in prayer and communicate with Him on any and every level. And the Bible also tells us that many people will simply not yield themselves to God because, just like the hardened hearts we read about in Scripture, He may not instantly show us the miracles we so often demand to see. He will not behave as we would like Him to. But the very real devil absolutely knows how to draw a crowd, tickle our ears with what we want to hear, and entertain the masses in exchange for our increasing obedience. It really frightens me that now, in the 21st century, possessing so much of a constantly humming Internet, satan can effectively be everywhere we are, see everything we see, and closely know nearly every thought we think as we share it online, whisper it to ourselves, or talk about openly with our family and friends.

The above is why I don't want some constantly listening device in the center of my household to do dumb things like exploring facts that I could research for myself. I have no need to voice command some appliance, or turning on a light or stove or anything else that I should be doing on my own. It has been amply demonstrated that the voice-command 'servo listener' on anyone's tabletop is listening all the time to every word muttered to one's self or in family communication. Do we really want that sort of nosy presence hearing our every spoken thought?

I don't call that 'paranoia', I call it 'perception

When I was a young Christian, I did not understand at all how the adversary or his earthly governments would be able to someday place cameras or microphones inside of the houses of literally billions of people. That seemed to me, then at least, to be a total impossibility--short of martial law. But I was way wrong! Today, as we all know, people of all ages literally line up to buy the hottest and most advanced cell phones available! And that's all that is needed to accomplish that. I have a very advanced cell phone, the cameras of which I constantly have covered with opaque tape. Whenever I'm not using the dumb thing, I keep it sitting in front of a radio constantly playing classical music. Call me a 'paranoid relic'. I don't care.

But I don't call that 'paranoia', I call it 'perception'. With the top-secret details Mr. Snowden incidentally forced to become common knowledge, I am absolutely convinced that our government is storing every phone conversation (and who knows what else) in microelectronic storage piles enabling instant insight as to what formerly private America is all about. Not too long ago, I tried to make a couple of phone calls from my Wi-Fi connected cell in my home. The calls were spaced days apart. But on a couple of occasions I was given a message that my call, " ... could not be completed because of (some sort of) device affixed to the top of (my) phone." I am not making this up. And, again, the only device I had ... "affixed to the top of my phone", was the tape I told you about covering those camera lenses. I made sure that, each time that I attempted to call, I did not move the cell phone 1 inch in any direction. Nevertheless, when I continued my attempt to make my call, that message ceased to appear--for no obvious reason. The pieces of tape on my phone lenses are nonmetallic and carefully cut into small rounds. They only stop the camera's ability to see. Those little pieces of tape, however, did not in any way prohibit my phone's transceiver from making any calls. I just think that my phone company, et al., wanted their eyes back.

Lying devil's busy hands

I will wrap this up by challenging any of my good readers to begin to notice just how decidedly intrusive and INCONVENIENT this so-called "computer age" has become! With the advent of so-called “Artificial Intelligence" and a host of other unprecedented technology available to the lying devil's busy hands (he knows his time is short), what can we truly believe in this massively corrupted world? It seems that, from a political standpoint at least, the Internet is mostly run and policed by leftist factions and labors beneath a general liberal dominance. Very few people seem to want to wake up to the fact that the devil's last 'speed bump' in this world is still the fragile parchment encased in stone and glass in our nation's capital. That is our amazingly singular CONSTITUTION! But what appears to be the baby killing, illegal alien welcoming, election tampering, economy wrecking, racially upsetting, lying, lying, lying, etc. LEFT is always working overtime to destroy our formerly (there's that word again) free and happy America! The democrats spend our hard-earned, overtaxed, overdrawn and rapidly dwindling dollars on importing and bribing totally dependent people for their votes. Unbridled technology has literally given 'beelzebub' a virtually uninhibited scope of power and perception. And conservative Christian efforts are very noticeably being constantly attacked and hampered in reach and availability. We are at war. The battle is literally between the proliferation and survival of either right or wrong. And once the right is extinct, there, again, is 'no looking back.' And that amounts to a world that you won't want to exist in

Our current "president" once gleefully announced to his democrat cohorts that, in no time at all, the United States would be a "white-minority" nation. Only yesterday at Howard University, he told a group of graduates that the worst threat to our nation was and is "white supremacy". I am again reminded of when Barack Obama and his wife did commencement speeches stirring up the racism--which 'pot stirring' very much had been, before their presence and influence, beginning to die down. I remember the day that my black friend and postal carrier, upon hearing the racially charged rants of a first-term Obama I was listening to on the radio, rolled his eyes and said, "Here we go again!"

America has been the home of freedom and freely thinking and speaking Americans. But now, with an effectively "3-D" and fully enabled, very real devil, our house is in the process of being rifled through, strip mined and generally torn to pieces. Rahm Emanuel told our 44th president a saying which became a favorite credo of his: "I never met a crisis that I didn't like”. And why is that? Because, as we have learned historically (if people even bother to look at history, anymore), whoever holds the power when any giant upset is happening, stays in power. Because people don't want to change horses midstream. Now is the time for all Americans to stand up and defend the wonderful freedoms we are rapidly losing to an evil, smiling enemy.

If the founding fathers had been television-addicted Internet surfers, we can be certain our Revolutionary War would have been indefinitely postponed, at least by order of the hard core gamers in that group. All of them: Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Hancock, etc. etc., would have remained in their parents' basement, stuffing their faces with soda and chips. "The Shot Heard Round the World" would never have been fired. And a laughing devil would have been fully satisfied with his accomplishment.

In eternity, in what will have amounted to a few microseconds, the world as we now know it will soon have come and gone. And Jesus, who was for our sakes tortured on a Roman cross, will be dressed in dazzling brilliance as he closes the door on hell and the miserable occupants therein who were too busy (having some laughs making fun of God, His word and His believing children) to have taken the time to check the veracity of these things for themselves. But then, the very real devil won't be laughing either. Only a small portion of that misery will be the presence of an eternally screaming devil and the noticeable lack of a cable or Internet connection.
