“Shortly after the Sanders campaign began, two members of the DSA social media committee came up with the idea to start pushing the use of the rose emoji, “as the rose is traditionally a symbol for democratic socialism.” (Mashable, May 27, 2017)
“Though they do their cunning best to keep it well hidden from a seemingly unsuspecting electorate, there is no difference between the Democratic Socialists of America (Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, New York City congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) and the plain old, same old Progressive Democrats. (Canada Free Press) “Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez come right out hee-hawing as Karl Marx-branded Socialists. Democrats (Sen. Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, et al) hide behind the name “Progressives”.Like their Resistance Leader Obama they like to lie in wait—hiding who they really are.
“Their name should be ‘Undercover Party of Democrat Socialists and Progressives Forever TOGETHER’. (Canada Free Press) “While the Democratic Socialists of America are hiding behind the rose symbol, sending the rose emoji viral over the Internet, the Progressive Democrats are coming up with new names for the same old business of taking America down.‘For the People’ is the not-so-new slogan of the DNC. ‘For the People’ covers women, children, immigrants and all Comrades in Arms, but not does not include white, male, Christian Conservatives or 63-million plus deplorables—about whom some members of the intolerant left are now saying should be euthanized. “While DSA-backed candidates promote a “big-tent” philosophy, the group’s constitution describes its members as socialists who “reject an economic order based on private profit” and “share a vision of a humane social order based on popular control of resources and production, economic planning, equitable distribution, feminism, racial equality and non-oppressive relationships. (New York Times, July 21, 2018)
“Members during public meetings often refer to each other as “comrades,” wear clothing featuring socialist symbols like the rose and promote authors such as Karl Marx.”
“The most ambitious Democrats in Washington have been reluctant to embrace the label, even as they embrace the policies defining modern-day democratic socialism: Medicare for all, a $15 minimum wage, free college tuition and the abolition of the federal department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE.” (NY Times) …"Sanders’ plan to provide free government-sponsored health care for all Americans had no co-sponsors in 2013. “Today, more than one-third of Senate Democrats and two-thirds of House Democrats have signed onto the proposal, which by one estimate could cost taxpayers as much as $32 trillion.”In today’s story about Obama endorsing an array of Democratic candidates mediate.com writes “Barack Obama has come out of relative political hiding”. Obama’s undermining of America from an $8 million mansion within easy walking distance of the White House is not exactly coming out of “relative political hiding”. Along with wife, Michelle Obama co-chairs the new “nonprofit voter registration” called ‘When We All Vote’. No one is asking “How does anything co-chaired by Barack and Michelle Obama end up in the “nonprofit voter registration” category? Meanwhile, it’s not the Russians coming to steal Midterm elections, it’s Citizen Resistance leader Barack Hussein Obama and his cadre of sore losers who have lost 1,000 seats since 2010. For voters in-the-know Obama’s, Biden’s and Bernie’s symbol is a dead red rose.
