Canada Free Press Unwarranted Christmas Misadventures With US Dominion Inc.

Dominion Voting Systems/Liberty Vote Drops $1.3 Billion Lawsuit Against Mike Lindell/ ‘MyPillow’ Guy;

Forced right up there with the so-called ‘Big Guys’, small, but still as fiercely independent as Canada Free Press (CFP) was back in 2020, US Dominion Inc. lawyers at Clare Locke sent startling legal demands ordering that we keep aside for them—all correspondence between President Donald Trump and us—their demand suddenly arriving by email on Christmas Eve Day.

Their legal demand arrived among threats of litigation to a myriad of news sites who dared question the outcome and legitimacy of the 2020 Election, claiming that Democrat Joe Biden had been handily elected as U.S. President.

Merry Christmas, CFP.

After an initial research, we discovered that CFP and talk show radio great Rush Limbaugh were the only two parties upon whom such demands were made by US Dominion Inc. lawyers.

We carried on with Christmas, ignoring threats of litigation, knowing full well that no correspondence between President Trump and CFP had ever existed.

‘The Dems Stole the Election—But It’s All Trump’s Fault’-headline, Canada Free Press, Dec. 30, 2020

“The latest is the threats of litigation to a myriad of news sites that dared to report on the Dominion Voting Machine network sent out over the holidays by Dominion’s lawyers at Clare Locke. For the record, independent Canadian news outlet, Canada Free Press (CFP) received theirs just after midnight on Christmas Eve Day. CFP’s was the equivalent to the one received by radio giant Rush Limbaugh, a “holding” letter warning us to preserve documents related to the voting system’s company. In other words, to hold in preserve any communication to CFP from the White House. With all due respect, Clare Locke, it doesn’t exist. Given that CFP willingly holds that Donald J. Trump is the best president in recent history, our first thoughts upon seeing the “holding” letter was “We wish!” (Canada Free Press, Dec. 30, 2020)

Yet, the Truth will always out, even when it takes an interminably long five and a half years:

‘Dominion drops $1.3 billion lawsuit against Mike Lindell, MyPillow’

‘Dominion drops $1.3 billion lawsuit against Mike Lindell, MyPillow’-headline, MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9), June 24, 2026.

“The long-running legal battle between MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and the voting machine company formerly known as Dominion is officially over, according to a court filing.

What we know:

“Now called Liberty Vote, the company dropped its $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Lindell and MyPillow with prejudice. “This means the case is permanently closed and cannot be refiled.

"The stipulation, signed by attorneys for both sides, states, "Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees, expenses, and costs."

The backstory:

“The dispute was part of a series of lawsuits following the 2020 presidential election, with voting technology companies and public figures facing off in court over claims related to election integrity and defamation. According to the original complaint, Lindell claimed the 2020 presidential election was rigged, and that Dominion's voting machines were part of it.

“What we don't know:

The filing does not explain the reasons for the dismissal or provide details about any potential settlement terms, beyond the agreement that each side will pay its own costs.

“Mike Lindell's political history

“Why you should care:

“While running his pillow company, Lindell has become extremely active in the world of politics in recent years.

“Lindell has been a vocal supporter of President Trump and has even launched his own media company. He landed in hot water following the 2020 election by making repeated false claims that the election was rigged.”

Shouldn’t that read “accused of making repeated false claims that the election was rigged?”

“Last December, Lindell announced he's running for Minnesota governor in the 2026 November elections. Tim Walz is not seeking re-election on the DFL side, and his biggest challenger on the GOP side is House Speaker Lisa Demuth.” (Fox 9.)

Lindell was persecuted by the legacy media, ridiculed, and derided in a long ongoing campaign that even had him facing bankruptcy.

In a June 24, 2026 press release, posted on LindellTV:

“Election Crime Bureau Releases Landmark Evidence Dossier: “The 2020 Election – An Attack Upon U.S. Critical Infrastructure”

“The Election Crime Bureau today released a comprehensive, fully cited investigative report, “The 2020 Election – An Attack Upon U.S. Critical Infrastructure,” documenting ten coordinated attack vectors against America’s election infrastructure in the 2020 general election. The report compiles more than 824 distinct findings supported by over 2,517 citations drawn from court records, government documents, sworn testimony, and technical forensics. Full documentation is available at ElectionCrimeBureau.com/Evidence.

“People have been told for years there is ‘no evidence,’” said Patrick Colbeck with Mike Lindell’s Election Crime Bureau. “This report does not ask you to trust us. It asks you to read the evidence, check the citations, and decide for yourself.”

As CFP ended its Dec. 30, 2020 article, none of us ever really know what’s coming

“Many have seen what they did, and there is no taking away what the many have seen. As for those who see the inauguration of president-elect Joe Biden as inevitable, they should be reminded that no one knows the future. January 20 is twenty-one days away. During that time span, anything can happen because we don’t know what will happen 21 days from now, a few days from now, hours from now, and in the case of the Mayor of Petrinja, Croatia Darinko Dumbović, standing on level ground one moment before a frightening ground-shaking earthquake struck—even minutes from now. Meanwhile, don’t let anyone drag you into a fugue of depression. Stand your ground and wait for the future. You never know what 11th-hour surprises it may bring.”

At the end of the day, for so very many of us unfairly persecuted for telling the truth about the challenged outcome of the 2020 Election, the “11th hour surprises” came only yesterday.
