Canadian Red Ensign: Their flag should fly to provide a permanent visible reminder, forever

Canadian First World War Heritage

Below is an image and poster being circulated by Proud Canadians independently preserving Canadian First World War Heritage. It may be possible that if enough people choose to forward it to various government officials and the Prime Minister of Canada, they just might break their protocol with political correctness and do the right thing and honour our Canadian Heritage in true perspective by making it into "an official 2010 November 11th End Of An Era Remembrance day poster", this professionally scanned Email image is all they need to do a really nice (same day) job of it.

As well as having the Canadian Red Ensign that draped the podium at the opening ceremony at Vimy Ridge and the same Canadian Red Ensign in use at the dedication of the Ottawa memorial (Pre 1957 version with green maple leaves) "FLOWN" at OUR Historical National War Memorial in Ottawa every day forever. John Orr was at the battle of Vimy Ridge and died two weeks later at the battle of Arleax. If you could ask him today if it would be appropriate to fly our historical Canadian Red Ensign at the historical National War Memorial in Ottawa in memory of all those Canadians it was created for after the First World War would he agree? I bet he would. Every Canadian First World War Veteran is now gone and I bet almost every single one of them would have agreed. The last two, Mr. John Babcock and Mr. Dwight Wilson both signed letters dated March 22nd 2007 asking Mr. Harper:
"Dear Mr. Prime Minister; We believe that the Canadian Red Ensign flag should be flown on the site of the Canadian National Vimy Memorial, not just at a single ceremony this April, but every day. We ask nothing for ourselves, but wish to honour the men we went to war with. The 3,598 Canadians who fought and died at Vimy will be there forever. And their flag should fly to provide a permanent visible reminder, forever. Please honour their memories by making this possible.
And if they were asked that same day about the National Memorial in Ottawa? It sure would be a permanent visible reminder. Any one that wishes to see or recieve copies of the notarized origionals that were hand delivered to the Prime Ministers office, or for an image of the flag draped around the podium at the opening ceremony at Vimy Ridge can feel free to make contact by email.
