If one takes a close look at the morals and values of American society and culture in 2022, one will clearly understand the concerns George Washington expressed above. Most of the Founding Fathers expressed similar concerns. Why do you suppose this brilliant collection of men found it necessary to voice such concerns? The reason is actually quite simple; our Founding Fathers knew and respected history. They recognized that starting in biblical times and throughout history, when human beings allowed moral values to degenerate into perversions, all previous civilized societies had collapsed into chaos and tyranny.

America’s slide down that slippery slope began with the “sexual revolution” that began in the 1950s. With this change, Judeo-Christian morals and values began to erode. Then with the increase of the “free love” and drug culture, the erosion accelerated. With the establishment of the focus on “me” rather than “we,” that slippery slope steepened. But how did these things begin to occur? What underlying factors prompted this shift in American culture?
After the fall of Czarist Russia, the Marxists (AKA socialists or communists) made an effort to repeat that kind of revolution in America. Of course, America wasn’t Czarist Russia, and the effort fell flat on its face. However, the Marxists soon realized they could never succeed in America under their own banner. By the 1920s, the Marxists recognized that they could succeed as “liberal progressives” hiding under the banner of the American Democrat Party. This they did quite well until they felt comfortable announcing, in public, who they were in the last decade. Bernie Sanders was the first, but more and more Democrat Party members are revealing themselves as socialist Democrats as well. So what did they accomplish as closet Marxists in the Democrat Party? We are only beginning to understand.
The most insidious and impactful action taken by the closet Marxists was taking over and systematically destroying the American public education system. Gradually, over 80 years they slowly injected Marxist ideology into the American education curricula. The original traditional education system taught students basic education in math, science, English, American history, world history, American government, and practical programs that gave young Americans the critical thinking skills necessary to integrate into a moral and virtuous American society. That system has now morphed into a system where science is situational, English in minimized in favor of multi-lingual classrooms, both world and American history are twisted to satisfy a Marxist agenda, sexual perversions are introduced and normalized, life is no longer sacred, Judeo-Christian values are evil, America is bad, and anything bad that happens is somebody else’s fault. And worst of all, if someone exercises critical thinking skills and questions the Marxist/Democrat orthodoxy, they are shamed and labeled right wing extremists.
Now these ideologically twisted “useful idiots” (a Marxist term, not mine) are thoroughly integrated into all aspects of American culture and are perpetuating what they were taught as current educators, Deep State government officials, elected government officials, entertainment, the media, social media, business, and even in churches, synagogues, and mosques all over America. Nikita Khrushchev told us to our face in the 1950s that they were coming after our children, and we didn’t take him seriously. Now his useful idiots are impacting every aspect of the America our Founding Fathers gave us.
Imagine, if you will, that a moral and virtuous American society and culture is a 50-year-old wooden house on a concrete foundation. Over time this house sees a cockroach infestation, and we take care of it as best we can with traps and pesticides. We see the problem and handle this visible problem. But, of course, the reality is that more cockroaches are hiding only to create an ongoing but controllable problem that takes continuous attention. Liken the cockroaches to the highly visible Marxists that have come out of the Democrat Party closet. They can be easily identified and mitigated. And these cockroaches may, very well, have come out of hiding too soon.
Further imagine that during most of the lifetime of our house, an infestation of termites has also occurred. This infestation is not as easily identified and remains undetected. All the while these termites are eating their way through the infrastructure of the house compromising the very structure that keeps the house standing. Ultimately, this house will collapse if drastic measures are not taken. Liken the termites to Marxist ideologically trained (brainwashed) useful idiots the liberal progressive socialists have used to infest all areas of American culture. Many of these “termite” drones don’t even know that they are undermining the very structure of America and the American way of life. They keep eating away in their comfortable little lives and will not become aware until the colony eats everything and the house collapses on top of them.
Many of the corrupt highly visible cockroaches can be virtually exterminated by We the People in the upcoming 2022 mid-term election and the 2024 general election. However, the termite drones are going to be a much longer term project to eradicate. In government, these are career civil servants, and the drones outside of government who are untouchable. Hopefully, they will see the light and figure out they are marching in the wrong direction for the good of their children and grandchildren.
Once upon a time, I would have bet Americans, as a society, would make good group decisions that benefitted America. Having now learned that morals, virtue, and basic right and wrong has been trained out of so many Americans, I no long hold that faith. The Marxists are normalizing criminal behavior and too many Americans are letting them get away with it.
