ELECTION CONTROL

In the Soviet Union, a.k.a. the Evil Empire, over 90 percent of eligible citizens voted in national elections, of which over 90 percent voted for the members of their ruling clique. All the candidates were government-approved, and national propaganda (all Soviet main-stream media) were 100 percent in favor of those whom the ruling clique wanted to get elected. Although formally a democracy ("People's Democracy" was sometimes used to describe it), the above insidious arrangement was the main instrument in the hands of the Soviet ruling clique with which to decide what the next Soviet government was going to be. And they did use it with professional virtuosity, making sure that the candidates favored by the ruling clique always won on a landslide. For all that was required to control Soviet elections was that most of the voters were duped into believing that the clique's candidates were the best that the country could offer.

Ruling clique's candidate Hilary Clinton

In the U.S., the ruling clique (many members of which with roots in Russia, Soviet Union, and its then-satellite nations) does not have this kind of absolute "democratic" power, yet. But the clique is inching towards that scenario. The current President has already approved his successor, the ruling clique's candidate Hilary Clinton, and the "mainstream" media run aggressive propaganda in favor of her, viciously smearing her only credible opponent, Donald Trump. The above insidious arrangement is the main instrument in the hands of the ruling clique with which to decide who the next U.S. President is going to be. And the clique uses it with professional virtuosity, making sure that their candidate safely wins on November 8. For all that is required to control the U.S. elections is that most of the actual voters have been duped into believing that Mrs. Clinton is the best candidate that America can offer. (And if plan A does not work, plan B, the familiar election fraud, with dragging all Clinton sympathizers to the polls, stuffing ballot boxes, dead people and non-citizens voting, injecting glitches into the software of voting machines, and recounting until she wins, is sure to kicks in.) It is really amazing what the voters have to believe in order to believe in Candidate Clinton's superior fitness for the U.S. Presidency. They believe: That the aggressive anti-Trump and pro-Clinton propaganda on almost all major TV networks, as well as President's approval of Mrs. Clinton and disapproval of Mr. Trump, cannot possibly sway the elections, but Rush Limbaugh and Drudge Report via secondary media (radio and the Internet) are to be blamed for swaying the elections. That Mrs. Clinton has all but won this election as Mr. Trump's popularity is sinking and his deplorable supporters are but a small minority of the electorate, and that her declining election poll scores are due to Mr. Trump's xenophobic, racist, sexist, un-American, and otherwise delusional rhetoric that resonate well with tens of millions of disinformed Americans.

Mrs. Clinton has been enormously popular among the American voters which is evidenced with hundreds enthusiastically cheering at her weekly rallies

That Mrs. Clinton has been enormously popular among the American voters which is evidenced with hundreds and - sometimes - thousands of them enthusiastically cheering at her weekly rallies, and that Mr. Trump is hardly popular with the American voters which is evidenced by less than 30,000 of them reluctantly participating in each of his daily rallies. (Well, maybe Trump rallies' participants are more numerous and more enthusiastic than Clinton rallies' participants are, but that proves only that Mr. Trump is a dangerous demagogue who will turn the U.S. into a Nazi Germany.) That Mrs. Clinton, who miraculously earned est. $60 million since she was "broke" after she and her husband left the Oval Office in 2001, does not have to prove to anyone that the exorbitant fees she and her husband collected for their speeches and consultations were not kick-backs for political favors she extended to her donors while serving as the Secretary of State, and that Mr. Trump must prove that all the allegations that were made against him are false of he is to be found guilty of all those charges in the court of public opinion. That those who claim that this election is rigged in favor of Ms. Clinton and controlled by the ruling clique and the Democrat Party apparatus are mentally sick nuts who subscribe to the long-discredited conspiracy theory, and that the FBI investigation into Clintons' corruption and apparent bribery is just a plot by the "vast right-wing conspiracy" (her words) that wants to derail her inevitable victory. That Mrs. Clinton's diplomatic "accomplishments" as the Secretary of State, such as her support of "Arab Spring" and destabilization of political equilibrium in Egypt, Libya, and Syria that followed it, as well as the resulting "migration" of million+ Syrian "refugees" that caused disaster of Biblical proportions in Europe that is going to metastasize to the U.S. (never mind the assassination of U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi) constitute a guarantee that she is going to be a mature, prudent, and successful leader of the free world, and the Mr. Trump's rhetoric about not messing up with other nations' internal matters while focusing on the reconstruction of American economic and military strength prove that he is going to destroy the Western Europe, and, perhaps, the humanity, once elected U.S. President.

Democrat Party’s disastrous record of taxing and spending, crippling the economy, redistribution of hard-earned incomes, fiscal insolvency

That rational voters should not pay any attention to the evidence of Clinton's corruption and favoritism revealed by WikiLeaks because it distracts the electorate from what is important in the elections, and that rational voters should pay close attention to all allegations, however unsubstantiated, of Trump's misbehavior towards women, and that it would not distract the electorate from what is important in the elections. That the Democrat Party’s disastrous record of taxing and spending, crippling the economy, redistribution of hard-earned incomes from the makers to the takers, fiscal insolvency ($20 trillion national debt being mostly the Democrat Party creation), foreign policy fiascos and disasters, and election manipulations, is nothing to worry about, but Mr. Trump's populist manners and direct language, particularly, his tendency to call a spade a spade without due respect to our nation's enemies, parasites, and predators, should be a matter of grave concern. You can certainly add a lot to the above list. The bottom line is that this election is not a choice of the "lesser of two evils", and certainly not an opportunity to express your frustration with a lack of a perfect candidate (assuming that, according to your standards, Trump does not fit the bill). It is either you vote for Trump in this election cycle or you submit to the ruling clique and, by doing so, you help it strengthen its grasp on political power to the point that, similar to the Soviet Union's ruling clique, it will have a total control of future U.S. elections. When our nation passes that point of no return, you will become as powerless subjects of the clique as the people of the Soviet Union were powerless subjects of their ruling clique. And that will certainly spell out the end of American freedom and prosperity for you and your children. (The clique will do alright, though.) So, if you really want to remain free and have a shot at your American dream, the choice is clear: vote Trump! After Clinton and the ruling clique she represents loses, we may sit down and negotiate which venue the American people, as opposed to the clique and its propaganda machine, want our country to pursue. Our ancestors made America great, and so shall we, again. All you have to do to make it possible is vote. Mark Andrew Dwyer's recent offsite columns. Links to his other offsite commentaries .
