Gun rights
Re: TORONTO STAR - U.S. Senate misfires on gun control: Editorial
Letter just sent to Toronto Star. Not yet published. Nor likely to be.
Dear Editor:
As long as people aren't allowed to defend themselves, Canada is in trouble. Criminals will ALWAYS get weapons.
Guns in the hands of productive Canadians are NOT weapons, unless they use them in self defense. That is not allowed in the Libtard world. Every state in the US that has concealed carry rights, which is a NATURAL right, has dramatically less violent crime than Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC and to a slightly lesser extent, California. Chicago has a mass murder every year in the form of over 1.5 murders per day. You are not allowed to defend yourself there and violent crime is out of control. Toronto isn't a lot different in reality, just not quite yet in practice. 95% of killings in Toronto are criminal gang related, but every "gun control" effort is to attack lawful firearms owners and deny them the basic right of self defense. Thus criminals are safe and content in their chosen profession there since they know their victims cannot defend themselves.
Thanks to those courageous senators who had the good sense to defeat the proposed outrageous legislation that would have eventually destroyed their 2nd Amendment rights and left them defenseless against criminals as well.
Or worse, as in Canada, you become a criminal FOR defending yourself against real criminals.
