My story

I thought I would email you and tell you my story. It starts some 27 years ago, although I am 33 years old. For years I took care of my young charges helping to shape them into fine young adults. I taught them to have compassion, patience, trust, to love, and kindness. For years I was happy to watch over my charges.

As time went by my young charges grew older and became young adults. And the need for me was not needed any longer. But because of my service to the family I was kept on. As the years have passed I stayed with the family. Then, finally, 10 years ago, to my joy, my young charge began a family of her own. Now once again my services are needed, and again the process starts again. Although I have never raced I have served my family as best I know how. For 27 years my family has kept me even though I have never made a drop of money I have carried babies both foals and children. And have done so with pride, even though in my age I am beginning to slow. Now I will change the story as you have probably guessed I am writing about my horse her name is Lady Diane. She was named for the princess. Although she is not registered, she is my pride and joy. I have had the little red dynamite for 27 years. She has taught me to be fearless, patient and compassionate. I love the red mare like no one can understand; she has been confidant and friend. And now I get the pleasure of seeing my daughter and son both have same enjoyment that I had. I have seen my daughter grow with confidence in the years she has been riding. And now my daughter spends her summer riding and playing with the mare the same way I did at her age. And yet here and now the Liberal government wants to take this away from my daughter, and I ask you why. All for some money that they need to bail themselves out with. I charge you with this question why should I give up my livelihood for some government body that couldn’t control their own spending and now it is up to me and my industry to bail them out. Why do we, the public, need to lose everything to help a government out that is supposed to work for the people not the other way around? I am trying to understand why it is that the liberals seem to think that by building more casinos that this will be the fix that Ontario needs. At what cost??? Why is it that the current government thinks that it is alright to break contracts with companies whenever it is convenient to them…. I am wondering now if I should be looking for a lawyer to help me with a class action lawsuit against the liberals. This is my story. I am horse racing enthusiast who is just trying to get answers and to let all Ontarians know to not be fooled by the liberals; they can do the same to you at any time and it then might be you fighting for your livelihood.
