At the United Nations, Netanyahu spoke passionately about the threat to "my people". He didn't say Israelis, he said "my people". How desperately we want to hear those words from President Obama. But, we won't, because he does not hold us as his people. He doesn't respect us. He doesn't celebrate us. He doesn't love us. I cry for Israel. And I tremble for the fury that may be unleashed by our abandonment of them. Netanyahu made his position clear. Israel will do whatever it must to protect its people.
