Before chao (chaos) matured as a political strategy, a fifth, and largely ineffective, street protest – e.g., Occupy Wall Street – was a sidebar that illustrated the need for more organized and demonstrative civil disorder.
And it came about.
The Language of Woke
Civil disorder alone is not enough to fundamentally transform America. Transformation requires that a new lexicon be deployed by the drivers of transformation. Woke is the language of social awareness, and it has made its way into the Pentagon and into corporate boardrooms as a linguistic tool of virtue signaling.
(Merriam-Webster added the word "woke" to its dictionary in 2017, defining it as, "aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues, especially issues of racial and social justice.")
Here's a sampling of the lexicon of Woke: toxic masculinity; micro-aggression; trigger warnings; safe space; cultural appropriation; diversity; white supremacy; equity; implicit bias; intersectionality; proportional representation; hate speech; biased objectivity; unearned white privilege; inclusiveness; etc.
It's the language of shaming.
Before its adoption by the Left, it was a tactic used in Mao's China as a tool of the Cultural Revolution. A July 23, 2020 article on this site stated that:
"The Chinese Communist Party's Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) was the precursor to today's urban protests involving Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa."
China's Red Guards used public shaming to demand public confession. Woke language is a verbal form of public shaming.
America's Cancel Culture movement is modeled after Mao's Red Guard. It set the behavioral pattern for BLM/Antifa. The Left's Language of Woke is about shaming 'white supremacists. The behavioral parallels are unavoidable. It's class warfare designed to bring chao to the nation. And it's working.

The Promotion of Woke
Wokeness is promoted by the liberal media in televised 'news'. By Hollywood in movies. And, by the on-line movie streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime). Woke themes mingle in with the flow of zombie apocalypses, improbable interstellar dramas, interplanetary alien invasions, themes dependent on firearm carnage, and LGBTQ motifs.
The print media – what there is of it that still has readers – feeds the Woke Movement with bad history (1619 Project of the New York Times); the Critical Race Theory (CRT), against which some parents in Independent School Districts are now pushing back; and, on the international stage, The Great Reset – the most recent rendition of the age-old dream of Utopia.
In their "Summary And Analysis of COVID-19 The Great Reset," Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret link the Reset to the Wuhan Virus:
"Post-pandemic, the role of governments in society will probably increase. The precise way that the pandemic will transform society isn't yet clear, but the authors make one prediction with confidence. The coronavirus pandemic could well signal the beginning of the end of neoliberalism – the political creed that favors competition and aims to reduce government intervention and social welfare." (p.17)
Of course, governments would increase. They're inflexible downward is size.
And, while all this is in the wind, the current U.S. Administration is flooding the national zone with anyone who can walk, or be carried, across the southern border. Unvaccinated.
As federal debt is out of control, and inflation is destined to increase.
Recently, the Secretary of the US Treasury, Janet Yellen, a retread from the Clinton-Obama Presidencies, was asked what her prediction for inflation was for 2021 at the beginning of the year. She answered "2%." When asked where it will likely end up. "Near 4%," she said. That's more than a rounding error.
Meanwhile, the Black Swan of sovereign debt default is airborne.
If there's a silver lining in all this, it may be this:
Many of the Big Blue Cities, run by Democrats for decades, are dying and there isn't enough money on the planet to bail them out.
