Trouble ahead for Israel
John Kerry
I am not of Jewish dissent, but I still find it sad, troubling and frankly, terrifying to hear that the United States has decided that Israel's opinions on middle eastern affairs, especially Iran's nuclear capability, is not important.
Israel has been the one country in the area that has provided the military might to keep the situation under control. It has been Israel's voice that has guided many of our decisions.Their intelligence capability and knowledge of the unique dynamics of the area are vital to us.
They act as our friend and our middle east presence. And we have been their ally.
When John Kerry tells Senators to ignore Israel, it is a slap in the face to Prime Minister Netanyahu and it signals trouble ahead.
