“Truth is a tyrant-the only tyrant to whom we can give our allegiance.” Those words were spoken by President John F. Kennedy, and in my humble opinion, truer words were never spoken. Without the truth a civil peaceful society cannot long exist. In Canada, the United States of America, and most parts of the world, truth is missing in action, and we are seeing, firsthand, how badly that is going, and those of us with critical thinking skills know that the worst is yet to come, if radical changes are not made.
Kennedy’s next sentence was, “The service of truth is a matter of heroism.” Sadly, in the public service sector there is a decided lack of heroes of truth. It is also sad that this is a discussion we even need to have in 2023.

Clearly, George Washington had a deep understanding of the foibles of human nature, and as voters, we have been negligent in choosing the elected officials to serve us in public office. For a half century we have only listened to what politicians promised while ignoring the reality of what they actually did. Shame on us! How many unfulfilled promises do we need to see before we recognize we have been scammed? Apparently, not enough so far!
In 2023, there is a silver lining in that the truth is finally coming out about the lying that took place in regard to the COVID scam and the fraudulent lies surrounding the January 6, 2021, demonstration that was anything but an insurrection. The blatant lies from the Marxist-inspired Biden administration are so egregious that even the socialist mainstream media can no longer ignore the lies. As always, ultimately the truth comes out.

All of the evils that are occurring in North America and the world are based on lies. That bears repeating: all the evils are based on lies. The biggest most persistent, decades old lie is that CO2, a gas that composes only 0.0004 percent of the earth’s atmosphere, can impact global climate. That’s equivalent to one grain of rice in a five pound bag; utterly ridiculous! But the fear mongers promoting this hog-wash have made billions and billions of dollars from this brainwashing scam. Unfortunately, the truth is nearly impossible to believe when people’s fear is the driving force behind their belief in the lie.

One human foible is that you can lead people to the truth, but you can’t make them believe the truth. The case in point is getting life-long Republicans to believe (accept) the truth about the vast majority of federal politicians of the Republican Party, who are just as bad as the Democrats.

To understand the level of ethics for any politician one simply needs to assess the financial history of that politician as I outlined in my Performance Review CFP article. When most Republicans in the United States Congress are tested against that standard, disappointment ensues. There are a lot of Harry Truman’s crooks in the Republican Party. That is a truth that voting Republicans refuse to see.

In October 2020, candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden bragged to the world that Obama’s elections and the coming November 2020 election would be done by “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics." Why did so many Americans fail to believe this truth? Why did the United States Supreme Court choose to ignore what Joe Biden said when several states challenged the validity of the November 2020 election?
Why won’t American politicians and the public not face the truth about the cheating in the 2020 and subsequent elections after Biden’s admission? Why won’t Americans believe Biden when his statement is validated by Dinesh D'Souza’s 2000 Mules movie and the works of Dr. Douglas Frank Truth and Liberty on election integrity? Why? I know the answer in regard to the politicians of the Republican arm of the uniparty. These professional career politicians are comfortable with the corrupt fraudulent election system because it works for them and helps them get rich.
As for the American Republican voters, they don’t understand, as George Washington did, that these career professional politicians are not able to withstand the bids from the highest bidders and money talks. Special interest lobbyists pay far better than the American taxpayers.
Failure to acknowledge the tyrant of truth by the majority of the American citizens will result in the final downfall of civilization on the North American continent. Misery previously never seen by North Americans alive today is in the future if the nation of our Founding Fathers is allowed to slip away. Heroic service to the truth will be required to stop America’s downward spiral into the evil world of communism.

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.
In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
