Who Made Carlos Slims so Filthy Rich?

Don't ask who made Carlos Slims so filthy rich because the chances are that you did. Here is how.

Slims' pathological wealth is a direct product of the mass-scale redistribution of wealth caused by American Liberalism. The Liberal governments of all levels rob the makers of a larger and larger portion of the fruits of their work and give some of the proceeds away to the takers (both domestic and foreign). Takers, notorious for not being able to manage their money well, become easy targets for all kinds of unscrupulous/criminal individuals and groups (and yes, Mexican drug cartels belong here) who cater to the takers and rip them off their easy-come-easy-go free money. And then, just like in the food chain, the largest sharks in this American wealth redistribution jungle (err, rain forest) end up amassing the largest piles of that rip-off cash. In Mexico, the main foreign beneficiary of Liberal generosity, Slims is on the top of that "food chain", so he gets the largest cut. Absolutely no surprises here.

So, if you are looking for an answer to the question of what happened to your money that Liberal do-gooders took away from you in order to finance the war on poverty and subsidize tens of millions of Mexican illegals, their numerous kids, and their compatriots in Mexico, look no further. You just found a large chunk of your money in Slims' pocket. (The money that you didn't find there was used to finance explosive growth of population of takers, including their mass importation from Mexico.) Here is a moral of this story. A popular mantra perpetuated by Leftist agitators "The rich are rich because they rip off the poor" tells only half of the truth. The other half is hidden in the question that most never bother to ask: from where did the poor take these hundreds of billions of dollars that the Slimses of the Third World have collected from them? If you are a productive American then you are among those who supply the poor with these hundreds of billions, via progressive taxes, via price hikes caused by minimum wage laws, and via loss of value of your work and your hard-earned dollars due to generosity of transnational do-gooders. Carlos Slims appreciates the Liberal scheme of redistribution of American wealth. Without it he could never dream of becoming the riches man of the world. And that is the inconvenient truth about the Liberal half-baked ideas that are wrecking our country while accomplishing little, if anything, of the Liberal agenda.
