Damage to our economy, and our country, was not something that “just happened by accident” but was planned and executed with “Full Knowledge and Intent” by none other than the Democrat Party
In America we are suffering from a very serious drop in the strength of our economy. Based on the magnitude of the drop and the speed at which it has occurred, and is continuing, it could be compared with what happened in 1929 which brought on “The Great Depression”. By that, the author doesn’t mean that the drop is worse (yet) than it was in 1929-’30, but that the relative size and speed of the current drop is definitely comparable. In 2020 we went from the strongest economy in the History of our country, and likely the world, to what we now have and, most unfortunately, we are likely so see it continue to worsen over the next two plus years. How, we should ask, could that have happened, and as fast as it did?
It is the author’s position that the damage to our economy, and our country, was not something that “just happened by accident” but was planned and executed with “Full Knowledge and Intent” by none other than the Democrat Party. Why, one should certainly ask, would a political party risk angering voters by taking actions that harm the economy and decrease the number of jobs available to the citizens? The answer is actually very simple and it is what has always motivated those actually running that Party and it is to acquire and retain POWER or the position to be able to tell others what they can, can’t and must do. Yes, most unfortunately, there are people who live with an unquenchable drive to have and hold such power over others.
It would be only reasonable to ask how intentionally damaging a booming economy could provide a route to power for the Democrat Party. The answer is, unfortunately very simple, and once understood illustrates the depths to which the Democrat Party is willing to go to have and hold said power. First it is necessary to understand what was happening in America as a result of Donald Trump’s moves to limit the extension of power that our government had assumed over our economy during the eight years of the Obama Presidency. Trump’s reducing just some of the destructive influences and restrictions that government had taken over our business sector had allowed business to flourish with profits, investment and employment reaching an all time high.
It would be reasonable to think that a strong economy, from which we all benefit, would be to the advantage of either political party but the Democrats did not see it that way. What they saw was an economy that was creating jobs at such a rate that the sector of our population that had been on welfare, literally for generations was finding work, some for the first time in their lives. What proved even worse was that these people were learning that they preferred working and being productive and were starting to drift away from the Democrat Party.
The Democrats knew that they had to act and act fast to retain their grip on power over those that they had controlled for years. They had to eliminate as many of what could be called; “starter jobs” as possible, and if other jobs were lost in the process, they did not care. They also knew from experience that taking steps to intentionally damage our economy would be the quickest way to accomplish that goal. Today, all advanced economies basically “run on energy” and driving up the cost of energy by driving down its availability will inevitably result in slowing the economy. The Democrats proceeded to do exactly that and for exactly the reason described above and our real suffering from that policy has only just begun.
