Tensions between Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and President Donald Trump continue to rise. We’re going on a month-long government shutdown over Trump’s proposed border wall. We’ve seen a lot of back-and-forth between the two. But one thing Pelosi is not happy about? Trump grounding her Congressional Delegation’s overseas trip a few days ago. Here’s the thing though: she did it to herself when she sent a letter to Trump suggesting the State of the Union be postponed until the government shutdown ends.
Pelosi’s spokesman came out and said President Trump endangered the Congressional Delegation by revealing details of the trip in his letter.—More….

There is no reason to believe Buzzfeed, Salon, or any of those far left “news organizations.” They are full of a supposition that is intended to paint President Trump in a bad light, make him look anti-American and drive down his public polls numbers. Anything full of so much blatant opinion with no supporting facts is garbage. On Friday, Buzzfeed proved that to be true.
Buzzfeed released a “bombshell report” this week. The article claimed that there was evidence proving Trump told his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about a Trump Tower project plan in Moscow. The authors, Jason Leopold, and Anthony Cormier claimed the information came from two law enforcement officials involved in the investigation.—More….

Hot on the heels of the toxic masculinity razor commercial debacle another corporate political decision has reared up. After Gillette insulted an entire gender, and a significant of its customer base, one liquor brand has stepped up to say, “Hold my Scotch!”
Johnnie Walker has come out in support of The Women’s March, and it is not going well. The scotch brand has been an enthusiastic backer of the movement, seemingly oblivious to the various groups that have disavowed the March due to anti-semitic leadership. To date the NOW, NAACP, Greenpeace, Emily’s List, and the Southern Poverty Law Center are just a few who marched off. Things have become so toxic even the Democratic National Committee has cut ties.—More…
A video went viral on the internet Saturday morning showing a group of kids from Covington Catholic school supposedly surrounding a group of Native Americans while wearing MAGA hats. The media, and unfortunately, even some Conservatives immediately clutched their pearls and began virtue signaling about how inappropriate the children were acting and condemning the actions. I am upset to see Conservatives so quick to buy what a Democrat controlled media is selling.
Within a matter of hours, after main stream media began sharing the story and attempting to identify the students several videos from different angles were released and once again we see the media selectively editing reality to fit a narrative, and this time it was to punish children for supporting the President and the March for Life. The students from Covington High school were in DC for the March for life and were waiting for their bus home at the Lincoln memorial, that is when noted activist Nathan Phillips approached the group of students, cameras ready, and began beating his ceremonial drum in the face of one of the students. Nathan Phillips is known to decry racism at the drop of a hat, and is nothing more than a liberal outrage artist.—More…
After Friday’s “March for Life” in Washington, D.C., a group of boys from an all-boys Catholic high school in Kentucky were assembled near the Lincoln Memorial, awaiting the buses that would take them home. During the wait some of the boys encountered a Native American Vietnam Veteran, Nathan Phillips, who was beating a drum. A brief video of the incident, which many claimed showed a student mocking or “jeering at” Phillips (as covered by our Sarah Quinlan) went viral. By Saturday afternoon the student was doxxed, threatened with expulsion, and the incident was being used by the usual suspects as yet another example of toxic masculinity and white privilege.
No one, apparently, attempted to talk to the students involved to hear their side or to see if there were any misunderstandings. One student who was in attendance emailed a local television station, then spoke to one of their reporters on the telephone, to share his version of events. WKRC’s Adam Clements tweeted screenshots of the email.—More…
The number of Ebola cases recorded each day in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has doubled, indicating that it may spread to other regions and other countries.
According to Jean-Philippe Marcoux, country directory for Mercy Corps in DRC, “Now it’s doubling – it’s very possible that it can double again. If we don’t significantly increase the resources, it will keep increasing. It will spread progressively to other health areas and it will be there for a long time.”—More….

The mirror on the White House Wall was supposed to show President Donald Trump as “immoral” for wanting to protect his country’s southern border with a wall. Instead the mirror is showing how immoral Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the high-handed, hate-ridden Democrats are.
The mainstream and social media have yet to ask how wanting to protect the citizenry from immigrants crossing the border willy-nilly is in any way “immoral”. They are also doing whatever they can to hide what is being reflected in the mirror.
As I wrote in an earlier article, new laws concerning drinking and driving came into effect in Canada on Dec. 18. As well as increased penalties, cops no longer have to have a “reasonable suspicion” that a driver has been drinking before demanding that driver provide suitable breath samples. As well, a police officer can demand someone provide breath samples if that person has driven anytime within the previous two hours. If the demand is made to a person drinking at home or in a bar and that person blows over the legal limit, he or she can be charged. It is up to them to prove that they were not impaired when they last drove.
I bought me a saddle on which to skedaddle,
But I hadn’t a horse to put under.
I could hear the herd comin’ and see the herd goin’
And their hooves were a beatin’ like thunder.
And, that sound seemed to say “Cowboy, step away,
‘Cause if you stand in this road, you’ll go under.”
So, with nowhere to go and an oncomin’ snow,
I holed up with my dreams and my saddle.
You know, the one that I bought while having the thought
‘Bout gettin’ on up an skedaddle.
Well, spring finally came and we suffered some rain
And everything greened up real fine.
In a speech Saturday from the White House, President Trump proposed exactly what the American people asked for: tough border security and a reasonable compromise to reopen the government.
In asking for $5.7 billion in border barrier funding in exchange for protection from deportation for three years for 700,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) recipients and another 300,00 immigrants here with Temporary Protected Status, President Trump extended yet another overture to Democrats. —More…
Just at a moment in time when a weary world needs it most, a Blessing for the World (Omnis Terra) comes today from the the Basilica del Volto Santo in Manoppello, Italy, home of the revered Holy Face of God relic.
Cardinal Gerhard Müller and San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone will be in Manoppello, in order to celebrate Mass in the Basilica del Volto Santo and then to bless the Church and the world with the miraculous image of Our Lord’s countenance.
In his address to the nation, President Trump once again offered an olive branch to the Democrats. In exchange for $5.7 billion in funding for a border wall, he gave his support for a three-year extension of protection for the 700,000 immigrants who arrived in the country as children. This group was protected from deportation by former President Obama in his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
His previous offers to negotiate and compromise have been rejected by Democrats, who are being held captive by their far-left wing, which supports open borders. The President may soon come to the realization that the only way to end the government shutdown is to give up on a deal with the Democrats and declare a national emergency and start building the wall on his own.
TORONTO, ON: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is applauding today’s announcement that the Ontario government is restoring the Ontario Student Assistance Program to 2016-17 levels, reducing tuition by 10 per cent and requiring the availability of online opt-outs for student ancillary fees.
“Reducing tuition and providing opt-outs for fees will help students while reforming OSAP will save taxpayers millions,” said CTF Ontario Director Christine Van Geyn. “Last year’s OSAP changes were supposed to save taxpayer money, but, as the auditor general warned, the cost soared to more than $2 billion per year. By returning OSAP to 2016-17 levels, we hope to see a savings of about 50 per cent for this program.”

New Orleans, LA – Late last night the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a preliminary injunction so now the state of Texas can block Medicaid funding to abortion providers because of the undercover videos that demonstrated a severe lack of accepted medical and ethical standards. The court also returned the case to the district court for further consideration. This ruling is fitting on the eve of the March for Life in Washington, D.C. today.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Liberty Counsel has filed an amicus brief asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review the decision by the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the Alabama law that prohibits dismemberment abortions of live unborn babies. This case presents a direct challenge to the 1973 Roe v. Wade abortion opinion.
In Marshall v. West Alabama Women’s Center, Liberty Counsel represents the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists and American College of Pediatricians, which are urging the Supreme Court to accept review of the Eleventh Circuit decision and to uphold the law that protects unborn babies, who can feel pain as early as eight weeks gestation, from cruel and unusual punishment.
When people ask me this question, I answer it with another, “Do mean God doesn’t speak to you?”
You can officially mark me down as a crazy person or whatever you like, I don’t care. But I initially turned from the world to face God because I heard a voice answer my silent plea, the plea of a lost and lonely sinner about to give up on life, “I’ve got to try something.”
What I heard was a voice as real as any I’ve ever heard say right in my ear, “Why don’t you try God.”
President Trump on Friday night slammed a BuzzFeed News report, which alleges the president has been implicated in a crime, saying its release marked a “very sad day for journalism” after Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team released a rare statement claiming the outlet got its facts wrong.
Trump went to Twitter to remind his 57.5 million followers that BuzzFeed, an outlet he once called a “failing pile of garbage,” once also published the unverified and salacious dossier by former British spy Christopher Steele that was used to justify the FISA surveillance warrant against Carter Page, a former campaign adviser to then-candidate Trump.—More…
