The Arabian Nightmare of the West

The Arabian Nightmare of the West
In 1983, Robert Irwin wrote a fantasy novel titled ‘The Arabian Nightmare’ about a young Englishman who was dragged into a whirlwind of sinister events in Cairo. The Arabian nightmare he learned was like a disease or a curse. It was terrible and obscene, monotonous, but yet fearful. It brought countless sufferings without the realization of such…

The Arabian nightmare has come to the West. It has come invisibly and struck it like an evil curse. It subdued Western people gradually - through arsons, sexual violence, “Salafi” vice squad and Muslim parties, under the slogans of tolerance and multiculturalism.

“Russian Roulette” of the West

Apr 19, 2018 — Alexander Maistrovoy

Russian Roulette of the West
In 1986, the manager of the largest state company Eurodif Georges Besse arrived at his office as per usual. When he got out of his car, he was shot at point-blank range by unknown people on a motorcycle. Initially the authorities accused the left radical Action Directe, but very soon the intelligence service found the Iranian trace.

The Iranians, who owned shares of Eurodif, demanded Paris to pay them the dividends that were frozen after the Islamic revolution. The murder of Besse was a blatant menace and it worked. France not only failed to expel Iranian diplomats, but paid Tehran more than $1.6 billion in 1991.

Neo-Stalinism and the Polish Challenge

Neo-Stalinism and the Polish Challenge
Courts have been turned into leverage for destruction of national democracies by the totalitarian system

In late December, the European Commission announced punitive measures against Poland using the so-called “nuclear option”, Article 7 of the Lisbon Treaty. The reason was the decision of Warsaw to limit the power of judges. The EU considered this an infringement on “freedom, democracy and the rule of law”.

In fact, the “nuclear option” of the EU has no relation to freedom, democracy, or the rule of law. Its goal is to establish a totalitarian supranational system in Poland, the leading country of the Visegrad Fronde, in order to supersede democratic national institutions of power.

Israel has become a testing ground for jihad. The conquest of the West is being carried out according to the scheme tried out in the Holy Land

It was like deja vu: August 2017. Paris. A rocket launcher was found in Paris No-Go Zone suburb. A few weeks before the same launcher was found in Lyon, near the madrasah in the Muslim quarter.  The media is silent. Human rights defenders are against Islamophobia.

... Gaza ... Hamas ... Rocket launchers were found in mosques. ... The media is silent. Human rights defenders are against occupation.
Allusion? Obsession? May be…

By a coincidence of circumstances or Divine Providence (depending on your liking), Israel has become a testing ground of the lethal alliance - the “jihad” and lunatic progressives. Here, in the cradle of the Judeo-Christian civilization, the most disgusting methods of terror and its laundering, know-how of legitimate and even sacred violence were developed. Here the strategy of the “Red-Green” alliance was formed. This is the place where poisonous shoots appeared and went on to spread their spores all over the world.

The Sacrificial Holy Lambs

Jun 12, 2017 — Alexander Maistrovoy

A Soviet anecdote of the 70s:

“At a Party meeting the Party leader addresses the audience:
- All of you will hang tomorrow. Do you have questions?
The Party leader:
- I will repeat the question. Tomorrow you will all hang.  Does anybody want to say anything?
A timid voice is heard from the audience:
- Shall we bring our own rope and soap or will they provide it to us?”

Fifty Shades of Green

“Being unable to cause might to obey justice, men have made it just to obey might” —Blaise Pascal

“Progressive man” refuses to recognize the crimes of Islam, not because he is naive, fine-tempered or tolerant. He does it because, unconsciously or subconsciously, he has already accepted Islam as a religion of Salvation. As he accepted Stalinism, Hitlerism, Maoism and the “Khmer Rouge” before it…

Joseph de Maistre, French aristocrat of the early 19th century, argued that man cannot live without religion and not religion as such, but the tyrannical and merciless one. He was damned and hated, they called him an antipode of progress and freedom, even a forerunner of fascism, however progressivists proved him right again and again.

The Comedy of Terrors: Western progressive thinking against culture, nature and man

Want to see Anti-Utopia? Look at the state of mind of the Western establishment.

After Trump’s win, a huge part of enlightened America was plunged into mourning. Students were crying, teachers canceled lectures to calm them down, “hotlines” started working to help desperate people.

In the USSR such mass hysteria happened only after Stalin’s death, when people cried thinking that it was the end of the world.

Nostalgia for gendarme

Oct 12, 2016 — Alexander Maistrovoy

It is difficult to say who will be elected by American people, but the world (except sterile Western Europe) has made its choice. And this choice, in spite of formal logic, is the “racist,” “sexist,” “imperialist”, “islamophobe” Donald Trump

In New York, the President of Egypt el-Sisi has met with Trump and characterized him as a “strong leader.” The presidents of the Czech Republic and Hungary, Milos Zeman and Viktor Orban, urged Americans to elect Trump. According to Orban, Trump would be a better leader than Obama, and Zeman compared him with Reagan. Russia, Israel and the Arab monarchies would also like to see Tramp in the White house. In India nationalists sing mantras devoted to Trump, in Serbia they called “Vote for Trump!”.

It’s not surprising. During the eight years of Obama, Clinton and Kerry’s ruling America has become a pariah. It is in isolation, and this is not the “brilliant isolation” of Victorian England. It is a miserable and shameful isolation. You can hardly find a regime now that wouldn’t have humiliated the leaders of the once great country and all people of America altogether.

EU-SSR: Bleeding Utopia

Jul 24, 2016 — Alexander Maistrovoy

After the Brexit and recent attacks against migrants in Britain I can’t get rid of deja vu feeling. As if I’ve already watched this movie a quarter of a century ago. I know its end and it’s not a happy one.

In the summer of 1989, the Lithuanian Sejm decided to withdraw from the Soviet Union and establish Lithuanian laws in the country. It was the beginning of the end for USSR - a giant corrupt monster, which for 70 years bullied the world and its people under the pretense of communist ideology.

Intimidation and sanctions could not prevent the collapse. Fabricated artificial entity, thoroughly impregnated with falsehood and lies, fell apart like a house of cards.

The primordial world of Islam

Jun 1, 2016 — Alexander Maistrovoy

The Islamic world of the Middle East is sinking into the gloomy and forgotten past: the Bronze Age, the world of slavery, human sacrifice, pedophilia, sexual sacred traditions, beliefs in conspiracies and now the most terrible - ritual cannibalism

The hypnotic dance of death

Cultural totalitarianism of the Postmodern era did the impossible - it changed the very nature of man

In my correspondence regarding the events in Cologne, an editor of a Russian newspaper asked me a natural, but discouraging question; “Where were the German men?”, he enquired of me, perplexed.

Indeed, for us who grew up in Soviet Russia, it would be inconceivable that some drunk young people could publicly mock and harass girls on New Year’s Eve in the very center of Moscow or Saint Petersburg. If they dared to do this, they wouldn’t survive until the morning, they would become “martyrs” and would have their way with 72 virgins in a completely different realm.

Collapsing Christianity, national identity, values, dignity - In name of what? to fight Islam

Nov 24, 2015 — Alexander Maistrovoy

If you have NO OWN values to fight against Islam, you are doomed.

“France is at war,” President Francois Hollande said after the Paris ISIS attack (as if Islamic terrorism hadn’t struck before:  - 9/11; Madrid in 2004; London in 2005; Boston in 2003; the Boston Marathon bombing’; countless acts of terrorism in Israel, Russia, Kenya, Nigeria, and finally “Charlie Hebdo”). Hollande is awakening from a dream, like the West is awakening in general. Similar to carefree and capricious Olympic Gods, the West has found itself in the epicenter of the storm and now repeats the same question feverishly and desperately: “How one can fight with ISIS?”. But the question is much more complicated and deeper: “For the sake of what one should fight?”. Such is the existential question of the Western civilization (with the exception, perhaps, of the Eastern Europe and Israel).
People fight for certain ideals: the Motherland, national dignity, religion (as Muslims do today), ideology – in our case, Liberal values and Democracy.

Syria: Russia vs the West - One-way Street

Western leaders, the media and experts state the obvious: the Kremlin is trying to save Assad. Of course, yes, but principal points remain outside of the focus of their attention.

Putin, Obama and Iran: a choice in the absence of choice

Sep 10, 2015 — Alexander Maistrovoy

“The prospects are bright, but the road has twists and turns”. These are the words of Mao Zedong, but they could have belonged to Obama. Unfortunately, “twists and turns” will be so numerous, that not many will manage to see the “bright prospects”.

Obama believes that the agreement with Iran is a unique opportunity to limit the escalation of war in the Middle East. In reality, having created a “New Middle East”, where Iranian ayatollahs play the role of the hegemon and covert ally of America, he not only threw dynamite into an already raging fire, but provoked a chain reaction of uncontrollable explosions thousands of kilometers far from the region.

Obama’s Carte Blanche: Season of “Big Hunt” in Eurasia

Iran - another predator is set free during Obama’s cadence

They are not empires yet. They don’t have enough power or the resources for becoming such. However, all of them - Russians, Turks, Arabs, Persians - are dreaming about empires, recalling old conquests and victories. And all of them should be grateful to the West, and the US president in particular.

Middle East through the Looking Glass

Jul 15, 2014 — Alexander Maistrovoy

Thomas Friedman’s article is a reflection of an inverted world in which the West exists. A world where minor secondary characters are villains, where genuine villains never appear at the scene, and people are united by good intentions and ties of friendship.

The Praise of Folly

May 11, 2014 — Alexander Maistrovoy

Not only are they ignorant of themselves, they cannot avoid falling into a ditch or stumbling over a rock in the path (perhaps they are bleary-eyed from studying or just absent-minded); yet they claim to know about abstract ideas, universals, separate forms, primary matter, quiddities, and different modes of being—objects so phantasmal I doubt Lynceus himself could make them out.” —Erasmus, In Praise of Folly (Folly, 56)
