Clyburn: Once We Get a Program Passed in Reconciliation Bill, It Will ‘Be Difficult to Take It Away’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Your World,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) advocated for cutting down the cost of the reconciliation bill by shortening how long some of the programs in the bill will be in place, and that once a program is in place, it will “be difficult to take it away.” Host Neil Cavuto asked, [relevant remarks begin around 5:15] “You know when you turn the shelf life of something and reduce the number here, let’s say make a five-year plan rather than a ten-year plan, you know very well that it’s very hard to get rid of these programs that ever are initiated five years out. So, you know that you’ll get your way anyway in that event. Because whatever you get, it’s something that’s hard to take away when they expire, right?”

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Friday on CNN’s “Situation Room” that the so-called House Select Committee on January 6 would use “criminal contempt” to enforce subpoenas. Subpoenas were sent to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, former White House social media director Dan Scavino, former Pentagon official, House Intelligence Committee aide Kash Patel and former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon.

But the servers wear masks. … I mean, that just — there’s something about this that’s not liberal to me. I mean, these are the liberal swells of the world, and — but if we’re all vaccinated and — do the germs know who the good people are? It just seems a little wrong.”

The newly released documents from The Intercept show that there’s another grant that goes 2020 to 2025. So, the money continues to flow to Wuhan. I forced a vote about a month ago in Senate, and we actually won unanimously no longer to fund the Wuhan Institute, no longer to fund this research in China, yet it hasn’t been signed by the president, it hasn’t been passed by the House yet.”

It is not clear what side that person was on. A video tweeted by Los Angeles videographer Sean Carmitchel shows Antifa members dressed in black bloc violently attacking people who reportedly gathered on Saturday to protest mandatory vaccines and vaccine passports. Multiple fights lasted several minutes.
