No Trend in Peak Flows on Fraser River Since Records Began

A new report released in Vancouver, British Columbia has found that "more frequent floods [on the Fraser River] could threaten 300,000 people's homes and $50 billion worth of property." Apparently "the report says 100-year flood events on the Fraser could now occur as often as every four to 10 years." And all of this is due to climate change.

More Evidence that British Columbia's Carbon Tax is Just a Tax Grab

So the Canadian province of British Columbia is going to raise the speed limit on some of its highways to 120 km/h (75 mph) from 110 km/h (68 mph). Peak Oil Production Nowhere in Sight

Having shown that the end of oil is -- as always -- still many decades away, and that our discovery of new global oil reserves has consistency outpaced increasing production rates over the past several decades, we can turn our attention towards debunking the omnipresent peak oil hysteria.

End of Oil and Gas Still Many Decades Away

With the June 16 release of the BP Statistical Review of World Energy 2014, there is some continuing good news. The end of oil and natural gas is still at least a half-century or more away. The reserves-to-production (R/P) ratios for both fossil fuels are well above 50 years.
