Here’s the published e-mail that was sent to Secretary Shinseki on April 30, 2014, regarding the Veterans Summer Celebration Permit. More than 125 years ago, this land was deeded exclusively to the United States Government to be permanently maintained as a National Home for war-injured and impoverished Veterans.
