The last episode of the hit TV show
All in the Family was made in 1979. If the show were being produced today, it would never see the light of day given its lack of political correctness and the use of such language as “queers” and “#”. It is surprising it is still allowed to surface in reruns. Yet, it was praised when it first aired in the early 70s as being the first show to deal with serious issues facing society. And when it comes to one of the issues the show dealt with, gun control, not much has changed in the last 40 plus years.
