NATO’s Strategic Failure in Ukraine

NATO is in disarray. NATO rested on their laurels that they could continue unabated in expanding the West’s military alliance to the doorstep of Moscow. The alliance placed all their chips on a bet that an endless supply of weaponry flooded into Ukraine would result in a relatively quick victory over what they naively believed to be a largely ineffective and technologically outdated Russian military lingering from the Soviet era.

Is the term "Indian" offensive? The joy of Ethynonyms

A man did a bad thing the other day. He called some people “Indians”. Upon learning of this, the editorial board of a local newspaper clutched its pearls and fell into a profound swoon. After being revived, they staggered to their desks and fired off an opinion piece denouncing the fellow and calling for him to be punished.

Warner Brothers has released two excellent examples of the 4K disc medium and both are so good they're really "must own" discs if you're a movie buff and/or collector. One is brand new, and the other is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Lies, damn lies, and progressives

This is Charles Martel coming to you from Florida and bringing down the hammer for the Canada Free Press, because without America, there is no Free World. Mendacity, prevarication, mislead, disingenuous, dissemble, dishonest, deceit…all are different ways of suggesting the same thing, that being, a lie. It is what progressives do best; it is the center and core of their operational foundation. It is imperative to both their policies and their politics, both of which crumble and fail when subjected to honesty and truth. Democrats, progressives and liberals are liars; they must lie to survive professionally, to remain functioning.

Pretending It All Works

...the most revolutionary act one can engage in is to tell the truth. — Howard Zinn (one of the few times he spoke truth)

What is truth? — Pontius Pilate, circa 33 AD

Our nation is under siege. Chaos creation continues at an accelerated pace. We are being attacked from multiple directions. Having faced the most powerful nation(s) on earth on multiple occasions in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, we now find ourselves engulfed in unchecked tyranny within our own borders. And yet, we pretend it all works. It's just politics.

One Life… Your Life… Can Make a Difference

I stood behind a table filled with literature, while hundreds of people milled around the large hall. This was our semi-annual college preview evening, and myself and other departments from the college were answering questions from potential new students and their parents. Many potential students were invited to visit the college, and were surveying the various tables and literature available, grabbing candy treats and other freebees sitting among the piles of literature.

Donald Trump is a Threat to Democratcy!

No, that's not a typo! A Democratcy is a government run by and for Democrats. It is not to be confused with a similar sounding and nearly equally destructive form of government known as a Democracy.

Get Ready For More Rigged Presidential Debates

Since 1976, every four years, the presidential nominees of the Republican and Democratic parties have met for televised debates. Usually, these debates are highly anticipated and attract impressive ratings. The largest viewing audience for a presidential debate was the first 2016 encounter between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. It drew an incredible eighty-four million viewers.

Private Protection Professionals Need More Appreciation Not More Regulation

This article, State agency cracking down on unregistered security guards, companies, inspired my commentary below:

As non government employees, private protectors are already more than sufficiently regulated by laws governing our profession and those more broadly applied to any citizen.

I think we err in comparing our profession to, and modeling it after, reforms law enforcement is undergoing.
