Trump is disturbing the peace by refusing to pretend awful things are fine

Normal Americans with basic common sense understand things like this. They understand it's not fine to run up $20 trillion in debt. They understand it's not fine to make awful deals with evil regimes that allow them to build nuclear weapons. They understand it's not fine to report "news" stories that are not true. They understand it's not fine to destroy insurance markets and then use taxpayer money to bail out the insurers so you can pretend it's not happening.

Rise up and raise C.A.I.N.

President Trump's agenda is the people's agenda, but he is meeting resistance from Congressional Democrats, RINOs and the negative liberal media at every turn. They call it the resistance movement. We call it the political swamp, because it works against legislative support for anything and everything the administration wants to accomplish

Here's some good news the networks won't tell you

When 92 percent of the nightly coverage of the president on ABC, CBS and NBC is negative (as documented by the Media Research Center), it's no surprise that so many people can only see this president and the nation in a negative light. Even worse, these same people are buying into the false narratives that this president is racist, volatile, incompetent and should be impeached.

Change can be good, even when you didn't seek it

Most people get into a routine in life and in business, and in their perspectives on life and business. And when those routines are disrupted, the first reaction is to view the change negatively.

The swamp strikes again, takes down Tom Price

Cabinet members taking charter flights is not unusual. I used to see Obama cabinet members at charter airports all the time. But this is the swamp, so you know what happens.

Is there any one thing being a Republican means?

I suppose you know that, like any black conservative, I swim against the tide by being a Republican voter. Black people are "supposed" to be Democrats, at least according to conventional thinking, and I guess I'm doing it wrong.

Speaker Ryan, think big on corporate tax reform

I’ve always liked Paul Ryan and I still do. Way before he was Speaker of the House, he was one of the House’s leading thinkers on how to deal with federal spending and taxation so we could seriously address debt and the growth of government.

Disrupting the political ecosystem

"An ecosystem is comprised of all the non-living elements and living species in a specific local environment. Components of most ecosystems include water, air, sunlight, soil, plants, microorganisms, insects and animals."

Compromise kills solutions

The Democrats would like for people to believe they were not cheering the Republicans' failure to pass ACA repeal and replace legislation, but they were cheering. To them it's a political victory despite the financial pain and suffering imposed on the American people.

Democrats' tax reform deception

Here we go again! A Republican president begins his push for significant tax reform, and the Democrats draw the usual misleading and deceptive battle lines.

Why Trump's four-point tax reform agenda hits the right priorities

Whenever a Republican president offers a vision for policy reform, the media claims he is “short on specifics.” So it was last week when President Trump traveled to Missouri to begin his push for the reform of America’s tax code.

Mr. President, you're showing me how hard the job would have been

I used to wonder what it would have been like if I had ended up in the White House as president, being a problem-solving business leader with no previous experience as a political office holder. I don't wonder anymore, because now I know. His name is President Donald J. Trump.

Some of you have careened headlong into the crazy zone

In Texas, a man tried to blow up a Confederate statue, because these days statues are apparently the greatest threat to our lives, health and well-being. But not before taking a drink of the substance he intended to use to cause the explosion! He did spit it out, so I guess it didn’t taste good.

House Negroes stand up!

Since the Michigan Chronicle, a historically black Detroit-based newspaper, thinks Dr. Ben Carson is a "house Negro", then I must be one also. Because that's one of the names you get called by other black people when you are a success at something, and you do not buy into "black group think", or act and say what they want you to say.
