VIDEO: Anti-Trump Protestors Vandalize Businesses, Cars, Kiosks in D.C. (CNSNews.com) -- The Anti-Capitalist Anti-Fascist Bloc’s DisruptJ20 Inauguration protest turned violent Friday morning as protestors gathered at Logan Circle in D.C. and marched down 13th Street. Footage shot by MRC Culture and CNSNews.com shows protestors vandalizing local businesses, destroying a limousine with hammers, spray-painting on walls and windows, smashing kiosks, and chanting “no cops, no borders, fight law and order.”

Canada must improve prescription drug safety for seniors

Montreal – Canada needs a national strategy to address inappropriate prescribing practices that lead to the unsafe use of medications by seniors, says the author of a new study from the Institute for Research on Public Policy. Seniors are the heaviest users of prescription medicines in Canada. On average, two-thirds take 5 or more prescriptions drugs over the course of a year and one-quarter take 10 or more, says Nicole Bernier. “It is estimated that as much as half of the medications given to seniors are taken incorrectly or are overprescribed, increasing the likelihood of adverse drug reactions and interactions.”

We will be watching both the former President and the media

In the past, Presidents leave Washington and Presidential politics to the new guy. They understood that there can be only one President and that it was time to back off and let the new guy do his thing. I'm sure it is hard to step away from the power and influence they once wielded. Some were more gracious than others but it is a standard of behavior we expect from our former Presidents. It is one we expect from Barak Obama as well. There are a lot of rumors swirling around about how Pres. Obama will conduct himself after Jan. 20, 2017. There is also concern about the media coverage he might enjoy if he does not honor the tradition of moving on. We will be watching both the former President and the media. George W. Bush did not interfere with Obama. We will demand the same level of courtesy for Pres. Trump.
