White House finally admits, Obama admin created the sequester

If a conservative dares to point out that Obama created the sequester, they're instantly inundated with a barrage of negative comments. The liberal counterargument is, invariably, "No he didn't, this is John Boehner's doing - he passed it so he could protect his evil, greedy, rich pals." They ignore the fact that Obama signed it into law, and they also ignore that he promised to veto any legislation that sought to replace the sequester with a different plan.

Obama sequester press conference ignores his veto promise

Today, Barack Obama took to the podium and confirmed that the terrifying cuts - cuts which every American should fear as if they were a gun pointed to their heads - will become law. Negotiations have failed, there will be no deal, and the United States will suffer the consequences.

When it’s time for some questions, the Press has to leave

Yesterday, Barack Obama addressed the 2013 Winter Meeting of the National Governor's Association. The assembly included governors from all across the country and, after his speech, the President wanted to be sure he opened the floor to questions.

Joe Biden recommends a pair of 12 gauge warning shots for women in danger

Joe Biden is a big fan of shotguns. A few weeks ago, he recommended the weapons for post-earthquake protection and defense during societal collapse. Now, he's telling women that they should just fire a couple of random warning shots if they hear scary noises.

Saturday Night Live observes Lent with the most offensive sketch in its history: Djesus Uncrossed

Update: I debated posting this, as doing so will only draw more attention to it. However, it's becoming a news story as the video spreads, so here you go.... 2013's Lenten season began Wednesday, and Christians all over the world are observing the six week lead-up to Easter Sunday. It's a solemn, reverent, time for millions of faithful. So, of course, the ultra-tolerant progressive left sees it as an opportunity to unload their derision, their hatred, and their ugliness upon believers.

If you've seen any news today, you're probably already aware of the meteor that exploded over the Ural Mountains this morning. At around 9:20 A.M. local time, a 10 ton rock entered the Earth's atmosphere at estimated speed 33,000 miles per hour. It exploded about thirty miles above the surface.

Rand Paul tears into Obama’s $2 Trillion State of the Union fiction

During the State of the Union, one of Obama's biggest lies was the notion that "Over the last few years, both parties have worked together to reduce the deficit by more than $2.5 trillion – mostly through spending cuts, but also by raising tax rates on the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans. As a result, we are more than halfway towards the goal of $4 trillion in deficit reduction that economists say we need to stabilize our finances."

All the cool universities are applying for FAA drone licenses

When you see a list of municipalities and institutions that are applying for FAA Drone Licenses, you expect to see the Marine Corps, the Navy, etc. Even the DOJ isn't shocking. Creepy, maybe, but not surprising. Now that the President has decided he can summarily order the drone-strike execution of U.S. citizens without trial, every federal agency is going to want one.

Sixth grade homework assignment: design a new socialist/communist flag

Remember the Sixth grade? I do. I was assigned to read Johnny Tremain. Set during the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, the novel taught kids about the Boston Tea Party, the British blockade of Boston, and Paul Revere's ride. I remember thinking that, for something a teacher was forcing me to read, it was pretty good. That's high praise from an 11-year-old.
