Reuters is shocked to learn that Iran is still stonewalling the IAEA with regards to its nuclear program

If Iran is to be believed, they're like the "Planet Alderaan" of global warfare. They're a tiny, placid, out-of-the-way country with no ambitions regarding nuclear weapons or WMD's of any kind. Heck. Iran only has a nuclear program because it wants clean, efficient, nuclear power. The United States is the big meanie with a stockpile of Death Stars. Iran is just a timid little commune of peace-loving individuals who want to keep the lights on.

There is no domestic strategy either

The Obama administration and the Democrats are still trying to "walk back" the president’s statement that "we have no strategy" to deal with ISIS. This shocked those of us paying attention to the brutality of the ISIS rampage through Iraq, the highly publicized beheadings of Americans, and direct threats to kill more Americans and eventually attack the U.S. here at home.

The beheading of Palmira Silva and terrorism

Last week, 82-year-old Palmira Silva was found dead in her backyard garden in the UK. She had been beheaded. Silva, a great grandmother, had come to Britain in the 1950s where she met her late husband, Domenic. The two ran successful restaurants and cafes and at the time of her death, Silva was the owner of Silva’s Café, a popular café in Edmonton. Until fairly recently, the 82-year-old had worked at the café full time.

What "International Community" is Obama Talking About?

United Nations, in reality it is the most corrupt international community on Earth
The U.S. and Iran have been adversaries since 1979 when it seized our diplomats and held them for 444 days. In the wake of the Cold War, Russia has assisted Iran develop its nuclear program and has joined its war on the Islamic State. The U.S. has joined the conflict, making Iran, Syria and Russia our allies in a world where such relationships are changing so fast it is hard to keep up with them.

EPA’s phony “environmental justice” caper

When it comes to energy, climate change, justice and transparency, the Obama Administration and its Environmental Protection Agency want it every possible way. Their only consistency is their double standards and their determination to slash hydrocarbon use, ensure that electricity prices “necessarily skyrocket,” expand federal government command and control, and “fundamentally transform” America.

On the Road to Mecca? The Islamic State Threat to the Gulf

Despite the great interest in the threat posed by the Islamic State organization to the West, perhaps the greatest threat is to Iraq’s neighbors, among them, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. The Saudi royal family seeks to accelerate the establishment of an international coalition capable of contending effectively with the threat that Islamic State now poses to it and its allies Kuwait and Jordan, which to a great extent serve as a strategic buffer between Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Islamic State’s road to Mecca is primarily ideological, and is a struggle for the fundamental beliefs of Sunni Islam. Yet while Islamic State has created rifts in the royal Sunni camp (due to Qatar's support of Islamic extremists), it may also create mutual interests between external rival elements. From the Saudis' perspective, the threat is serious, and in this context, the possibility of ad hoc cooperation with Iran, their primary regional rival, cannot be ruled out.

Don’t give up America’s economic and competitive advantage

With 9-11 nearly upon us, ISIS is brazenly beheading American journalists—with a promise of more to come; Christian congregations have been bombed during worship, churches have been destroyed, monasteries attacked, entire cities purged, hundreds of thousands have fled, while others have been slaughtered; and cities, weapons, banks, and key infrastructures are being captured. Surely, with all of these horrors playing out before our eyes, the crisis in Syria and Iraq is the “most consequential, urgent, sweeping collection of challenges we face.” No, the quote above was made about climate change by Hillary Clinton—the heavy favorite for the Democratic 2016 presidential nomination—before a standing-room-only crowd at Senator Harry Reid’s seventh National Clean Energy Summit (NCES 7.0) held in Las Vegas on Thursday, September 4.
