The Unheralded Return of Michelle, The Activist

The unmasking of Michelle Obama the ‘returned activist’ went down in history at a Virginia high school on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Five years into the Obama regime, Michelle came out of the White House as the activist she’s always been to instruct high school students that they are entitled to “free” government handouts.

Losing Liberty

I am very concerned that the Socialistic leaning Liberals within our Federal Government are leading us down the path to the complete loss of all Individual Liberty in the United States of America. I literally cry real tears in my observance of the death of our Constitution and the Liberty it provides. I sit alone in the quiet of my study, as I am now, and do my utmost to understand why, why are the American people seemingly so willing to just watch, and in many cases, actually embrace the death of their own Individual Liberty, their God given right to make their own decisions and be responsible for themselves.

Republican Leaders Fight Back Against IRS Power Grab

Republicans are fighting back against proposed new IRS rules that they say would make formal the tax agency's infamous crackdown on Tea Party groups that oppose the Obama agenda, stripping them of their free speech rights during election cycles.

Dwayne Ferguson an African American community activist and vehement anti-gun campaigner who worked tirelessly for New York’s gun grabbing SAFE Act was arrested last week for carrying a concealed weapon into a grade school. He said he “forgot” he had the gun on him and wants to be given a pass on the violation.

AIPAC and Iran’s war against America

For its decision to pull anchor last Friday on its bid to pass new sanctions on Iran, AIPAC has been accused of slavish devotion to bipartisanship. Although the criticism is not without foundation, it is probably undeserved in this case.

Look behind the Iran warships headed to U.S. borders

It's easy to downplay or even dismiss the threat by Iranian warships said to be on their way to sail close to U.S. maritime borders if one merely looks at this move as taking place in a geopolitical vacuum.

Obama, Dems and Media: No Jobs and Poverty are Good for you!

While Obama’s personal US Attorney General Eric Holder continues with his latest assault on US States’ laws and Constitutional rights--he’s decided gay marriages must be recognized in all States…regardless of what States’ laws contain--his partner in multiple crimes, Obama and his syndicate, has come up with the new Democrat talking points which extol poverty and lack of work and/or work hours; but, only for the “masses.”

Here we go again: Governor, mayor say they're ready this time as Atlanta Ice Down II approaches

A lot of you were interested in Herman's insight about what went wrong in Atlanta two weeks ago, when day's worth of snow and ice turned into a nightmare that stranded people for many hours, and in many cases overnight. Public officials said they had learned from the experience and would be better prepared if there was a next time. I don't suppose they thought the next time would come this soon, but here we are, as another round of snow and sleet threaten to once again turn the roads into ice rinks starting tonight.

NAACP requires photo ID to attend anti voter ID protest march

In 2011 Elon University conducted a poll which revealed that 75% of North Carolina residents supported a wide swath of new voter ID regulations that were, at the time, making their way through the legislature. With such broad support, the measures were a no-brainer. They eventually passed and were signed into law last August.

Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up

If you find oil or natural gas on your property, the value goes up. If you find an endangered species, your land becomes virtually worthless because the critter prevents productive use.

Iran threatens to sink U.S. warship

I assume this is primarily a show for the benefit of the rest of the Middle Eastern world, designed to show who has the muscle in the region. And I assume the Iranians are feeling their oats in part because they have no expectation that Obama will make them pay for acting like this.

Reflections on Black History Month

Black history is American history, and American history is Black history. They are inseparable. They are intertwined.

Protect the Grid Now

Americans have discovered that Silicon Valley and much of the San Francisco Bay area literally dodged a bullet – or more precisely 110 of them – last April. The grace of God and quick thinking by control room operators narrowly averted disaster when a highly professional and disciplined attack on an electric substation outside San Jose might have inflicted a protracted blackout on millions of us and our economy.

Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations and the American Set of Principles

The effort by US Secretary of State Kerry to formulate a set of principles to enable Israel and the Palestinians to continue negotiations on a final status agreement even after the nine month period allotted to the negotiations ends in April 2014 presents both sides with a serious dilemma. On the one hand, each of them will be forced to bite the bullet, which will create political difficulties for them with their own political base of support and the public. On the other hand, whoever is perceived as responsible for the failure of the move could pay a heavy price with the international community. In the end, the two parties could find themselves forced to accept the set of principles - albeit with many reservations - because they cannot place the blame only on the other side.
