Leaders reach Iranian deal again, Israel still unhappy

Two weeks ago the leaders of ‘The Six’ met in Geneva to come to an agreement with Iran on curbing its nuclear weapons programme – you know , the one they’ve been saying they don’t have for all these years. As details leaked out Israel shot it to pieces and it seemed to fizzle out.

Losing Liberty

Americans everywhere. It seems to me that no matter what, we continue down the path to the complete loss of all Individual Liberty in the United States of America. I literally cry real tears of sorrow in my observance of the death of our Constitution and Liberty. I sit alone in the quiet of my study and do my utmost to understand why, why are the American people seemingly so willing to just watch, and in some cases, embrace the death of their own Individual Freedom.

The UN Global Warming Hoax is Slowly Dying

In 2007 Dr. Nils-Axel Mörner was interviewed on the subject of sea levels. He is the head of the Paleogeophysics and Geodynamics department at Stockholm University in Sweden. He is past president (1999-2003) of the INQUA Commission on Sea Level Changes and Coastal Evolution, and leader of the Maldives Sea Level Project. Dr. Mörner has been studying the sea level and its effects on coastal areas for some 35 years.

Jewish Culture, Revelation and Continuity

The Pew survey, like the various more specific surveys of the Jewish community that come out from time to time, has told everyone in the Jewish organizational world what they already know. There is nothing in the survey that hasn't been predicted, belabored and denied for decades. If its meaning had to be summed up in a single sentence, it would be that there can be no religion without revelation, no community without culture and no continuity without all of these.

Subsidizing green energy is like supporting operator-assisted telephones with party lines

The whole idea of green energy--renewable resources--grew out of an energy reality that was much different from today's. It was in the 1970s, following the OPEC Oil Embargo that solar panels began popping up on rooftops and "gasohol" subsidies were enacted. It was believed that green energy would move the U.S. off of foreign oil and prevent oil from being used as an economic weapon against us.

I don't think we're going to let Obama change the subject

When you're as desperate as Barack Obama is right now - with your approval ratings plunging and people no longer even finding you to be an honest person - you're willing to try almost anything to make people focus their minds on something else. Well, I should qualify: That's what you do if your priority is your own political viability. If you're a real leader, you man up and solve the problem. But we don't have a real leader. We have Barack Obama.

Truth wins: The facts that destroy the allegations made against me in 2011

On September 24, 2011, I won the Florida Republican Presidency 5 Straw Poll by a large margin over the next closest candidate. It was an upset victory and helped propel me to the position of frontrunner in the national polls for the Republican presidential nomination. My messages of common sense solutions and tax code replacement were clearly resonating with the American people.

Iran Plays Obama, Kerry, Like A Violin

Thousands will pay with their lives as a result of the deal Obama made with Iran over the weekend. In fact, that number could easily grow to millions and among them will be the lives of US citizens.

Thanksgiving 2013, I barely know where to start

I barely know where to start. I could point out that this is the second Thanksgiving since our Ambassador and 3 brave men were tortured, brutalized and finally died because we have a morally challenged amateur in the office where a courageous leader belongs, but I won't.

Obamabomb: Iran can keep its weapons program

The president who promised us that his health care legislation would allow us to keep our insurance plans and doctors now insists that his agreement with Iran will not allow it to keep a nuclear weapons program. What the two pledges have in common is that they are both lies. No matter how many times such statements are repeated and seconded by President Obama’s partisans and the press, they amount to fraud – serial, intentional and potentially fatal fraud.

Canada Must Not Follow Mexico’s Lead on Food Taxes

OTTAWA, ON: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) has released a new report that takes direct aim at Canadian groups who want Canada to adopt a Denmark-style fat tax or the sugar and ‘junk food’ tax recently implemented in Mexico.

Yeah, Barry, Words Really Do Matter

Remember the phrases "Change We Can Believe In" or "Hope and Change" along with the ever popular “Yes, We Can”? They were used quite effectively by the Barack Obama Snake Oil and Dream Factory Corporation in 2007-2008. Change, for Obama, was simply a synonym for Progress. And Progress, again for Obama, meant moving ahead to a changed human condition that was superior to the one which existed when his self-proclaimed exalted person appeared on the scene.

Is Barack Mentally Malnourished? A Reasonable Explanation for Obama's Mind

In fact, a weird, recent phenomenon emerges from the perpetual miasma, confusion and drama composing the life and times of Barack Obama. Many strain at the question -- What drives the man? In office he has appeared arrogant and self-satisfied to a degree remarkable even for a US president. Further, he has so often seemed ignorant or obtuse to his surroundings, and of the topics presented to him.

Why the federal government cannot fix the economy

Congressional liberals incessantly propose and pass legislation that contravenes basic economic common sense and fundamental principles of economics. Any time Obama and the Democrats talk about legislation that will help economic recovery, you can be sure that is not the purpose of the legislation. “Economic recovery” to them means government spending that actually hinders economic recovery.

Off with their heads!

The practice of beheading dates back to Greek and Roman times. The Roman Empire used it for its own citizens while crucifying others. Beheading has been traditional in Europe since the Middle Ages. In Scandinavia, it was customary to behead a nobleman by sword (a noble weapon of war), but a commoner by axe. Beheading was abolished in Britain (1747), in Denmark (1892), in Sweden (1902), and in Norway (1905). With the exception of the UK, All European countries that previously beheaded have not totally abolished the death penalty.
