SEATTLE — Families of the victims killed and injured in three separate shootings in Belltown over the weekend are demanding answers, as Seattle police continue to investigate.
No arrests have been made in any of the shootings.
The violence began early Sunday morning near Clay and Denny streets, where 21-year-old Matthew Lanske was shot three times while out with friends. His family says the group had come across a street takeover when a robbery attempt turned violent.
"My brother had seen that, so he ran over to try to assist and get control of the gun, not only for his friend, but for the whole community, and ended up getting hurt," said Rebecca Garberding, Lanske's sister. ---More...
