For most of my life, I have been an outspoken fighter against Godless Communism.

It started at age 9, when the nuns at St. Joseph Orphanage appointed me among several other girls to watch over 5-year-old Hungarian boy, Zolt, who awoke screaming from nightmares at night and needed human comfort to try to settle him back down.

The nuns asked only that I try to calm this little boy in a “soothing” voice and to call for them, if he couldn’t be calmed.

After several nights of bed sitting Zolt, I found the courage to ask one of the nuns, ”Sister, is Zolt crazy?”

Her answer was unforgettable: “No, Judith Anne, Zolt is not crazy. He sometimes awakens from nightmares because he witnessed the brutal massacre of his parents and siblings in Hungary before caring folk found a way to get him into non-communist Canada.”

Asking her who the brutal slayers were brought me my first lesson on the brutality of evil communism, a lesson that was to remain with me the rest of my life.

It was decades later in early 1991 when I was dispatched as a freelance writer to report on the fight of the Baltic States for freedom from the then Soviet Union by the Dallas Morning News. I was, of course anxious to see firsthand whether or not my revulsion of Communism had been grounded in reality.

It didn’t take long. The first time I was on Communist soil, I couldn’t help but notice that no one smiled on Communist turf—where there is never anything to smile about. I witnessed the dead bodies of young students lying in the bloodstained snow, real images that could never be unseen.

It was to be the eye-opening Trip of a Lifetime, and not just because I, and other anti-Communists travelling with me were pulled from an airplane en route to Moscow and temporarily detained, but because I saw in reality what those dear Sisters of Charity taught me at St. Joseph’s Orphanage.

Ironic that I now live within a 3-hour drive to the Halifax Orphanage where I was raised. Having fled from the Province of Ontario four years ago when Premier Doug Ford threatened to freeze the bank accounts of all supporters of the Truckers Freedom Convoy, of which Canada Free Press was one, little did I know that Canada would become a country where a WEF-style communism would rise its ugly head.

It is no exaggeration to describe that every day since I learned that this country’s Prime Minister Mark Carney serves under the direction of the communist-based WEF, I have hoped and prayed for the rise of a champion to fight it off.

Thus far, among all media figures, only Glenn Beck has stepped forward, trying to bring public attention to the sorry state of present-day Canada.

CFP’s only two connections to Beck came from one of the most unlikely of sources, through the late Canadian United Nations con-man Maurice Strong, Beck described as “spooky dude” during his stint with Fox News, and years later, from Beck’s Washington 9-12 Project, where I got to meet in person several American friends, whose friendships have lasted a lifetime. Cathy Tyler, Joe Pulvino and Kathie Mattson, Pam and Jerry Johnson to mention just a few.

It was at Beck’s 2009 9/12 event where those friends and I were brought to tears of sheer joy, after a self-described “rag tag” group of patriots, dressed up as a Revolutionary Fife & Drum Corps, ordered to disband by Washington Park authorities, led us to the Capitol, where more than a million patriots were waiting to cheer them on!

You perhaps can imagine my absolute thrill when Glenn Beck displayed Canada Fee Press on his lap computer featuring our ‘Bring Back Beck’ campaign in his inaugural opening remarks on his first live GBTV, on Jan. 25, 2012.

Meanwhile, reassured in knowing at heart that Communism has failed in most every country where it has ever been tried, I am humbly asking again for fervent ongoing prayers for Canada.

Finally, I do not believe that most in the news media do not really care that Canada is falling under Communist rule, but they are just too afraid to call it out.

Nor do I believe that the residents of this country could care less about their country’s present-day state, because far too many of them remember relatives who gave their all for our freedom.
