Just as the elitist Fox News’ Chris Wallace fancies himself to be, the prime time host is now blaming President Donald Trump for a “sustained assault on press freedom”.
As far as elitist Wallace is concerned, the lesser and non-elitist millions of average Americans who have long been under “sustained assault” by the press, can continue to fend for themselves.
That some of the stories they come up with in collusion with the Democrats destroy reputations, families and jobs, goes without notice.
Fending for themselves is what the masses always had to do before President Donald Trump came along to expose the media for what it is: a virtual gang-up with control freak Democrats, with whom they work jointly to cancel the results of Election 2016—and to put an Impeachment Full Stop on Donald Trump-types from ever happening again.
Foxs’ ‘fair and balanced’ Wallace, has got it all wrong.
It is not the media who should be rescued from President Donald Trump—but the betrayed masses who should be rescued from a mostly fake media.
“Fox News host Chris Wallace went after President Donald Trump in harsh terms Wednesday during a speech in Washington, D.C. (Daily Caller, Dec. 12, 2019)
“I believe that President Trump is engaged in the most direct sustained assault on freedom of the press in our history,” Wallace said at the Newseum.”
The ‘Newseum’—soon destined for closure—was the perfect place for Wallace to speechify his complaint.
While the masses fend for themselves amidst the daily propaganda passed on as ‘news’ by the networks, Fox News good fellas hang together

“Criticize Fox News untouchable Chris Wallace and his colleague Neil Cavuto cries. (Canada Free Press, Nov. 20, 2019)
“Or shouldn’t that be whines?
“Defending Wallace from what he calls “an attack” from President Donald Trump, Cavuto lectured Trump that it’s not the job of journalists to praise him.
“A curious defense when 98 percent of media journalists mostly slag and smear the president.
“Cavuto, presents himself as an expert in Fake News, at which some think Fox is becoming proficient.
“Only talking heads and not the president are “entitled” to rage.”
“But what if the news being reported is accurate, the facts are good they just sound bad?” Cavuto asks.
“Does he mean like the last two Democrat-dominated polls, Fox presented as real news?
…”The best we can do as journalists is to be fair to all, including you, Mr. President”. (Mediaite)
“Fair to all, including you, Mr. President?”
Oh, and balanced too.
“Only talking heads and not the president are “entitled” to rage.”
Fewer than a third of news consumers say they trust the media
The main job of the Fourth Estate is supposed to be informing the public, honestly and accurately, not to defend each other in shirking their responsibilities.
“Fewer than a third of news consumers say they trust the media, according to the Gallup organization. (Thoughtco.com, Aug. 12, 2019)
"Before 2004, it was common for a majority of Americans to profess at least some trust in the mass media, but since then, less than half of Americans feel that way. Now, only about a third of the U.S. has any trust in the Fourth Estate, a stunning development for an institution designed to inform the public," Gallup wrote in 2016.”
Meanwhile, the saddest news of the day is that Fox is now in the running for Fake News Provider of the Day.
