Talk About Ego..

By Neal Boortz, Nealz Nuze .. and I thought I had an ego! My little ego would rattle around like a BB in the boxcar of Obama's ego. During a speech the other day, the Community Organizer reminded us how lucky we are to have him - a guy named Barack Hussein Obama - in the White House. He says, "The first time around it's like lightning in a bottle. There's something special about it, because you're defying the odds. And as time passes, you start taking it for granted that a guy named Barack Hussein Obama is president of the United States. But we should never take it for granted."

The new impossible energy no-fly zone

By Terence Corcoran, Financial Post The world is about to enter a no-fly zone for energy policy, a period where nothing gets off the ground. Here we have a globalized economic system filled with unprecedented energy options, but where all options appear to be politically off-limits. If it comes to that extreme, as seems probable in the short-term wake of the Japanese nuclear meltdown, the battle will be fought with mind-spinning claims and counterclaims, distortions, lies, exaggerations, misrepresentations.

Pure Evil

There is no possible rationalization or justification for these murders. They are barbaric, savage and inhuman and so are the people who commit them, the communities that enable them, the apologists that excuse them and the ideology that makes them possible. Stabbing children in their sleep because they are Israelis, settlers, Jews...it doesn't get any more barbarous than that. Slitting the throat of a three-month-old baby...the savagery and inhumanity is beyond words. Celebrating the commission of these murders...that's inhuman and beyond words too.

Government has not made the case for F-35 Purchase

(Link) The F-35 purchase will no doubt create high-tech jobs, but so would many other government expenditures totaling between $16 to $30 billion. But why are we spending this enormous sum through an untendered contract for these particular planes? The government has not made the case for heavily armed stealth bombers, other than that they would provide the Armed Forces with a neat recruiting tool and better integration with the U.S. military.
