Barack Hussein Obama continued his practice of lying to the American people. His topic was the gasping healthcare reform bill HR3200. Obama made a number of assertions that quite frankly were out and out lies; outrageous lies if you are one of the many Republicans who have read the bill. Not so outrageous if you are a Democrat who hasn’t even bothered to crack the cover.

Send Obama packing via the 14th Amendment

There is still raging a huge controversy as to whether or not our current sitting President is legally in that chair. Most of the media, television, magazine, newspaper and yes, even the internet, consider the debate to be moot at best and inane at worst. Furthering this brouhaha, the Obama administration and its buddies in the legislature have been less than forthcoming in offering significant proof of Obama’s legal citizenship.

Good Riddance Van Jones

The Obama Administration is tripping all over itself to put the right spin on the “retirement” of Obama’s Green Czar Van Jones. Currently the talking points are that Jones, in a move of absolute integrity, decided that the furor over some of his past comments would hurt the chances of Obama getting his “reforms” passed.

I have found that it is an understanding of the subtleties of the English language that is the last item on the learning list, especially if that learner is a member of the Mainstream Media media; doubly so if that learner is a liberal political pundit who believes their own hunt-and-pecked hype.

Can a liberal elitist also be an intellectual?

One of the typical fall back positions of the liberal left is to denigrate the intellectual capacity of those who disagree with their positions on issues. If you are pro-life you have obviously never studied REAL science. If you do not believe that Al Gore is a true prophet, you must forecast the weather by using tea leaves and live in a cave furnished with animal skins. If you don't believe that taxing the middle class and small business is the only way to achieve prosperity, you must be a real fan of Dickens' Scrooge and completely out of touch where true economics are concerned. As Van Jones called out to a questioner, "How's that capitalism working for ya?"

Pro Choice Hypocrisy

All of us have come across stories where a pregnant woman is attacked and in the process loses her baby. I cannot imagine a more tragic circumstance, and, in my opinion the attacker needs to undergo a dark age’s style execution...on television. What is surprising is the number of so-called pro choice adherents who agree with me.

During his campaign for President, Barrack Obama used the phrase, “my Muslim Faith” during an interview with ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos. Stephanopoulos was quick to help his favorite Senator with the correction, even going as far as giving Obama the more voter acceptable “my Christian faith”.

Obama’s Home Warranty Scam

A story appeared in a local newspaper this month. It described one of the scams Home Warranty companies use to squeeze more hard earned dollars out of their unsuspecting customers. In this scam the customer is offered a new air conditioning unit under their warranty, but part of the deal is paying an exorbitant fee to dispose of the old compressor. The reason for this fee, they are told, is that because of the nasty hazardous Freon. What they are not told is that the Freon has to be drained as part of the dismantling procedure. They are also not told that recycling companies pay good money for old compressors. Check out this link for the story:
