Pelosi Puts Her Foot In It

Question from the press during Pelosi’s capital briefing Thursday Morning: “Madam Speaker, in terms of the political tone, the tone of the debate, Hoyer said earlier this week he thought it was the most vitriolic since '93-'94. And around that time we also saw acts of domestic violence, domestic terrorism. How concerned are you about the tone of the political debate, in terms of people talking about anti-government rhetoric and so on and the possibility of violence?”

Tikkun Olan also infects Christianity

Arutz Sheva has a great article regarding Tikkun Olan, the “repairing the world” Jewish tradition. On one hand it has a lot going for it, as the tradition, prior to its liberal metamorphosis in the US, kept alive the ideologies of caring for your neighbor, becoming a truly better person, not just a Jew and so on. But when American liberals got hold of it, it became twisted into where becoming a more liberal liberal took over becoming a better person.

A Spade is a Spade

This Daily Record story surfaced on my 35th anniversary:
“CUSTARD creams are Britain's most dangerous biscuits; it was revealed yesterday. A study claimed an estimated 25million people in Britain had been injured by biscuits.

Sex causes global warming

This column began with an email forwarded from Wayne Leavitt, the Auto Shop teacher at Sunrise Mountain High School. That’s right folks, a conservative public school teacher. They do exist.

Should Joe Have Apologized?

Barack Hussein Obama continued his practice of lying to the American people. His topic was the gasping healthcare reform bill HR3200. Obama made a number of assertions that quite frankly were out and out lies; outrageous lies if you are one of the many Republicans who have read the bill. Not so outrageous if you are a Democrat who hasn’t even bothered to crack the cover.

Send Obama packing via the 14th Amendment

There is still raging a huge controversy as to whether or not our current sitting President is legally in that chair. Most of the media, television, magazine, newspaper and yes, even the internet, consider the debate to be moot at best and inane at worst. Furthering this brouhaha, the Obama administration and its buddies in the legislature have been less than forthcoming in offering significant proof of Obama’s legal citizenship.

Good Riddance Van Jones

The Obama Administration is tripping all over itself to put the right spin on the “retirement” of Obama’s Green Czar Van Jones. Currently the talking points are that Jones, in a move of absolute integrity, decided that the furor over some of his past comments would hurt the chances of Obama getting his “reforms” passed.

We Need Idealists, Not Ideologues

I have found that it is an understanding of the subtleties of the English language that is the last item on the learning list, especially if that learner is a member of the Mainstream Media media; doubly so if that learner is a liberal political pundit who believes their own hunt-and-pecked hype.

Taxes Cause Deficits

Taxes cause deficits. Believe it or not, that is a historical reality. Every time taxes are raised, the state, or country that raised those taxes has increased its margin of loss.

A Superb Sermon

This article has cropped up all over the net. Some have asked as to whether or not this pastor realizes he may have violated federal law. That is nonsense, of course, unless you follow the liberal take on the First Amendment.

Can a liberal elitist also be an intellectual?

One of the typical fall back positions of the liberal left is to denigrate the intellectual capacity of those who disagree with their positions on issues. If you are pro-life you have obviously never studied REAL science. If you do not believe that Al Gore is a true prophet, you must forecast the weather by using tea leaves and live in a cave furnished with animal skins. If you don't believe that taxing the middle class and small business is the only way to achieve prosperity, you must be a real fan of Dickens' Scrooge and completely out of touch where true economics are concerned. As Van Jones called out to a questioner, "How's that capitalism working for ya?"

Pro Choice Hypocrisy

All of us have come across stories where a pregnant woman is attacked and in the process loses her baby. I cannot imagine a more tragic circumstance, and, in my opinion the attacker needs to undergo a dark age’s style execution...on television. What is surprising is the number of so-called pro choice adherents who agree with me.

Darwin Was Wrong, Part 2

The definition of “theory” from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary reads thusly:

Darwin was Wrong

It seems that the mere act of a Christian expressing an opinion that disagrees with the atheistic orthodoxy of the liberal left is enough to send some of those folks into a typing frenzy. They will swallow, hook, line and sinker, any pseudo-intellectual claptrap that anyone puts up onto a site and declare it as truth as long as it supports their contention that this universe is nothing more than a happy accident.

Obama’s Nazi Youth

Tuesday, September 8 is my 35th wedding anniversary. It is also the day that Barrack Hussein Obama has chosen to mandate that every student in the United States watch and listen to a live broadcast of a message he has for them. This is what EdNews says about the broadcast:

Snake Oil

The fellow with the cheesy 1930s pencil thin moustache describes to his “interviewer” how our diets are so poor these days that our intestines just cannot keep up with the load. He claims that in most people anywhere from 10 to 50 pounds of fecal matter “encrust” our colons like buildup in a drain pipe or cholesterol in our veins.

Liberal Hate Speech

Since that magazine cover came out with Rush Limbaugh's mouth taped shut, I've been thinking about the intriguing shift in the social dynamic of this country. The same demographic that has, for decades, called for everyone's right to dissent to be respected, is now acting like the congress that passed the sedition act back during the John Adams Presidency.

Teddy Kennedy was no “Jack” Kennedy

This is the preamble to the Wikipedia article of an incident the Kennedy clan would love to see forgotten: The article is far more favorable to Kennedy than many national papers were at the time.
