Knock Out Criminals Hit a Home Run in New Orleans

The knock out game has come to New Orleans with a vengeance in recent weeks. Despite police denials, there have been several recent attacks that have all of the hallmarks of the vicious knock out game. In the past several weeks, in the tourist hotspot of the French Quarter, innocent individuals were targeted by black youngsters. These victims were not robbed, but were severely beaten and sent to the hospital in a coma.

The Final Curtain for Chocolate City Ray and his Corruption Factory

This week, in an overwhelming victory for federal prosecutors, former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was found guilty on 20 of 21 corruption counts. A jury convicted Nagin of bribery, wire fraud, money laundering and filing false tax returns. The former Mayor could face decades in prison and will be sentenced on June 11.

The Alternate Universe of Barack Obama

After five years as President, Barack Obama has perfected the art of shifting blame. He almost never accepts responsibility for his mistakes. However, every blue moon, the President does admit failure, but only when he has no other alternative. For example, it took a massive meltdown in his poll numbers for the President to finally admit his promises about ObamaCare were not being fulfilled.

Grammy Values Versus American Values

It was a shocking spectacle at the Grammy awards Sunday night. Clearly, the organizers of the event were more interested in sending a social message than recognizing musical talent.

Welcome to Jobless America

It is becoming laughable to hear the Obama administration talk about a so-called “recovery.” Supposedly, this “recovery” started in June of 2009; however, in reality our economy is on life support and the latest jobs figures just confirm this horrible news.

Time for GOP to Listen to the American People

It is clear that the House GOP leadership is preparing to take action on the immigration issue this year. According to reports, the “principles” of immigration reform will be introduced next week and it will include a “pathway” to citizenship for the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country.

Poverty won after 50 year war

On January 8, 1964, President Lyndon Johnson made his famous call for a national “war on poverty.” Eventually, this “war” would total over $20 trillion in spending and include a myriad of both harmful and ill-advised government programs. As with all liberal initiatives, these policies were created with supposedly good intentions, to help improve the plight of our impoverished Americans.

Our National Lampoon Goes On Vacation

This year, it finally became fashionable for comics to lampoon President Obama. His infamous lies about ObamaCare and the disastrous rollout of the Healthcare.gov website were too tempting for comics to ignore. It is no surprise that the President’s poll numbers have significantly dropped. In fact, the latest poll shows that the President is more unpopular than former President George W. Bush and his disapproval ratings are the lowest of any President since Richard Nixon.

Obama's Handshake From Hell

This week at memorial services for former South African President Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama greeted a number of world leaders, including the communist dictator of Cuba, Raul Castro. The President warmly shook hands with Castro, slightly bowing during the visit to engage in pleasantries.

MSNBC: How Low Can They Go?

MSNBC, the network of far left lunatics has taken their extreme hatred to a new level. Last week, host Martin Bashir called former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin a “world class idiot” and a “resident dunce.” For good measure, he claimed she possessed a “long deceased mind.”

Oprah Plays Obama Race Card

As President Obama stumbles and fumbles his way through his second term, his mistakes are impossible to overlook. From his handling of the turmoil in the Middle East to his failed economic policies to the disastrous rollout of ObamaCare, it has been a year of train wrecks for the President.

American Deserve Real Obama Apology Tour

President Obama began his first term in office with a worldwide apology tour. In a visit to Strasbourg, France, the President claimed that the United States of America had shown “arrogance, been dismissive, even derisive” in dealing with Europe. In a speech to the Turkish Parliament, Obama said, “The United States is still working through some of our own darker periods in our history.” At the Summit of the Americas, the President remarked that his country has “at times been disengaged, and at times we sought to dictate our terms.”

The Face That Launched a Million Glitches

The pleasant looking face of the Obamacare website is gone. The young lady on the home page of the Healthcare.gov site has been replaced by nebulous circles. It seems the glitch ridden website needed a new start after four weeks of embarrassing failures. After the Obama administration spent $600 million on a lousy site that was designed by a Canadian company with a track record of failure, the President had to resort to advising Americans to send in paper applications or call the hotline, never mind that you may be on hold for hours on end.

ObamaCare casts fainting spell on Americans

On Monday, at the Rose Garden, as the President was endlessly talking about his signature program, ObamaCare, a young woman standing behind him nearly fainted. The victim of the long winded President, Karmel Allison, has diabetes and is 20 weeks pregnant. It is mind boggling that the White House would force someone in her condition to stand and endure an Obama speech.

The Last Stand of the Redskins

The politically correct forces of liberalism have found a new target, the Washington Redskins. Never mind that the team nickname has an 80-year history, all knowing white liberals believe that the term Redskins is somehow offensive to Native Americans.

ObamaCare is Not Ready for Prime Time

It has been over three years since the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was officially passed by Congress on March 23, 2010. In that time, the Obama administration was obviously unable to adequately prepare for the launch of the healthcare exchanges. This perfectly illustrates the inefficiency, dysfunction and mismanagement of our federal government.

Our Never Ending Obama Nightmare

It has been a long five years, our Obama nightmare. Sadly, there are no signs that things will improve anytime soon. Of course we know about the damage the President has done to our economy, by massively increasing the debt, raising taxes and growing government.

King’s Dream Turns Into Nightmare

As we mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, it is worthwhile to note the state of Black America. Sadly, we still have immense poverty, blight, broken families, crime, failing schools and crumbling infrastructure in the inner cities of this country.

A racist hiding in plain sight at the Department of Homeland Security

It is really amazing what our federal government will tolerate from their employees. At the IRS, Lois Lerner is currently enjoying a paid leave of absence from her position as Director of Exempt Organizations. Of course, Lerner is under fire for her mishandling of the non-profit applications of Tea Party organizations and her notorious decision to take the 5th amendment instead of testifying truthfully before Congress.
