SORRY COVID MANIACS, AMERICANS ARE MOVING ON

After 31 excruciating months, Americans are ready to move on from COVID-19. Even President Joe Biden admitted that "the pandemic is over." According to a recent poll by Axios, 65% of Americans agree with Biden and see little to no risk in returning to their pre-COVID lifestyles and activities. Despite constant warnings from Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Adviser to President Biden, to get "boosted" and remain vigilant about the threat of the virus, most Americans have had enough.

CHALLENGES ARE MOUNTING FOR OUR WOKE MILITARY

The United States armed forces is facing its biggest recruiting challenge since the military draft ended in July of 1973. For the next twenty years, the all-volunteer military was easily able to manage the country's conflicts, such as the Persian Gulf war of 1991. However, in the post-9/11 "War on Terror," the all-volunteer force was inadequate. It was heavily supplemented by reservists and members of the National Guard. In fact, part-time military forces comprised approximately 45% of the total forces who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as 18% of the casualties.

THE DUMB AND DUMBER ADMINISTRATION

Americans are starting to realize that their country is in serious trouble. After 20+ months of President Joe Biden and his ill-advised policies, there are multiple crises impacting the nation. When Biden assumed office, the nation's economy was strong. There was minimal inflation, strong economic growth, a robust stock market and low interest rates. Today, we have a 40-year high inflation rate, negative economic growth, a recession, a bearish stock market and the highest interest rates since 2008.

PELOSI DESERVES TO BE BOOED AND FIRED

If there is one politician who deserves to be booed it is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). On Saturday night at Central Park in New York City among fellow leftists Pelosi received her just deserts. As she was making a surprise speech to the crowd at the Global Citizen’s music festival, Pelosi was greeted with heckling and boos. This was a very unpleasant surprise for an audience that was hoping to hear music from Metallica, Mariah Carey, and the Jonas Brothers.

DeSantis Shows Republicans the Way to Win

Over the past few decades, very few real fighters have been in positions of power in the Republican Party. Exceptions to this rule were tremendous leaders such as Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, and Donald Trump who were accomplished and effective in their roles. As both a candidate and President, Trump was especially successful as a counter puncher, responding in kind when he was attacked. Unfortunately, for President Trump, the attacks never ended, and he rarely received the support he needed in the United States Congress.

NEVER FORGET  THE TRAGIC LESSONS OF 9/11

One of the many lessons our country should have learned from the tragedy of 9/11 is that we must remain vigilant. Sadly, during the eight years of the President Bill Clinton administration and the first eight months of the George W. Bush presidency, our nation had been lulled into a false sense of security. Even though the Cold War was over, the United States was still facing serious threats, but it was not from the Soviet Union, it was from Islamic jihadism. In the preceding decade, our country had been targeted by a series of terrorist attacks from the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993 to the U.S.S. Cole bombing in 2000.

THIS IS NOT YOUR FATHER'S REPUBLICAN PARTY

On Thursday, President Joe Biden gave a disgusting and divisive speech demonizing millions of Americans who believe in the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement. After calling these patriotic Americans "semi-fascists," Biden used the backdrop of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, lit in red with two Marine guards behind him, to label MAGA Republicans as "a threat to this country." He also claimed MAGA supporters represent "extremism" and "promote authoritarian leaders." Of course, he was directing his fury at President Donald Trump, who he labeled a "clear and present danger."

ELECTRIC VEHICLES ARE THE LATEST DEMOCRAT MANDATE

Democrats love to issue mandates, whether it involves useless masks, COVID-19 vaccines, or the car you purchase. This week, the far-left states of California, Massachusetts and Washington issued mandates requiring the purchase of electric vehicles. In all these states, unless a hefty fine is paid, automakers will be forbidden from selling gasoline powered vehicles by 2035. As usual, the trendsetter in the climate craziness is always California. In 2019, Washington and Massachusetts passed legislation to follow whatever guidelines are enacted by the California Air Resources Board.

With GOP Leaders Like McConnell, Who Needs Enemies?

On Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) publicly complained about the “quality” of GOP Senate candidates. He declared that a Republican U.S. Senate majority was not likely. At a Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce luncheon, McConnell claimed that “I think there's probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate.” Why does he believe the GOP will not gain one seat in a year in which Biden has destroyed everything from border security to the economy? He stated that “Senate races are just different, they're statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.”

REPUBLICANS, FIGHT FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP AND EQUAL JUSTICE

This week, Democrats just passed a massive expansion of government that will grow government, increase inflation, raise taxes, and unleash 87,000 Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents on Americans. Even though Democrats have the slimmest of margins in Congress, and do not have a political mandate, they passed another piece of their radical agenda. When Republicans controlled the White House and Congress during the first two years of the Trump administration, they were unable to dismantle the Affordable Care Act or build a border wall. Even though President Donald Trump tried mightily, these major agenda items were not fulfilled.

IGNORE MEDIA SPIN ABOUT JOBS, ECONOMY IS DREADFUL

During the Trump administration, the liberal media always tried to discount any positive news and spin events in the worst way for the President. They hated Trump and attempted to destroy him. These liberal media "watchdogs" have become today's "lapdogs." Instead of reporting factually, the liberal media strive to find "positive" news to boost the sagging poll numbers for President Joe Biden and the Democrats. The latest example of this cheerleading occurred with the release of the July jobs report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It showed an increase of 528,000 jobs from June, while the unemployment rate dropped to 3.5%, matching the nation's lowest level in the past fifty years.

JOE MANCHIN SHOWS HIS TRUE COLORS

In announcing a deal with far-left Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), exposed his true ideology once again. Manchin, who balked at supporting the $3 trillion "Build Back Better" legislation, reached an agreement with Schumer after months of negotiations. The $433 billion legislation is erroneously being labeled the "Inflation Reduction Act." According to Manchin, the bill does not raise taxes and will reduce our 9.1% inflation rate.

THE JANUARY 6TH OBSESSION CLAIMS ANOTHER VICTIM

With their unrelenting witch hunt and their bogus committee hearings and prosecutions, the Democrats and their supporters in the Department of Justice, the establishment wing of the Republican Party and the corrupt mainstream news media have triggered another January 6th protester to take his life. Last week, Mark Aungst of South Williamsport, PA committed suicide, according to the Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. Aungst, a gas field well service technician, traveled to Washington D.C. on January 6, 2021, to attend the “Stop the Steal” rally organized by supporters of President Donald Trump. After the rally, Aungst joined thousands of others in marching to the U.S. Capitol.

DR. JILL, CRY ME A RIVER

It seems the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, is upset. At a fundraiser on Saturday with top Democratic Party donors in Nantucket, Massachusetts, she complained that her husband’s “hopes and plans” were interrupted by the “problems of the moment.” How dare those annoying “problems” get in the way of the great dreams of President Joe Biden! These Biden dreams presumably include ending Second Amendment rights, packing the Supreme Court, federalizing elections, implementing full-blown socialism by passing a “Build Back Better” bill and destroying our domestic oil and gas industry. Thank goodness for the “problems of the moment.”

AMERICANS WANT TRUMP BACK

In a sign that he is about to announce another presidential campaign, Donald Trump  released a video this week of his awesome Boeing 757 being refurbished. This is the airplane he used to campaign during his successful 2016 election. According to Trump, "Now it has been completely modernized and renovated, and looks GREAT, all done in the Great State of Louisiana, and coming back to the skies in the Fall of 2022, or maybe sooner. Get ready!" Americans are definitely "ready" for the return of Donald Trump to the White House, especially after 18 months of the worst presidency in United States history.

AN ANGRY AND ANXIOUS AMERICA ON INDEPENDENCE DAY 2022

On a day that Americans should be celebrating, millions of people are fearful of the future and frustrated about the condition of the country. Americans have endured 18 months from hell, the start of the Biden administration. Not surprisingly, 73% of Americans believe the country is "on the wrong track." A recent poll shows that President Joe Biden only registers a 31% approval rating, a pathetic level of support.   Why are Americans so disgusted with this administration? A once thriving economy has been destroyed. Since President Donald Trump exited office, the inflation rate has soared, and gasoline prices have reached record levels.

THE WORST PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY

The descendants of Presidents James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, and Jimmy Carter can relax. Their families will no longer be associated with a United States President deemed to be the worst in American history. The current occupant of the White House, President Joe Biden, has seized this title after only eighteen months in office. His administration has failed without exception, from their handling of the economy to their disastrous military withdrawal from Afghanistan.

WELCOME TO THE RECESSION, THANK YOU DEMOCRATS

One of the most popular definitions of recession was coined by economist Julius Shiskin in 1974. In his view, two consecutive economic quarters of negative gross domestic product (GDP) growth meant the country was in a recession. Sadly, based on this description, America is on the verge of entering a recession. In the first quarter of 2022, our nation’s economy contracted by 1.5%. As we approach the end of the second quarter, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta just estimated that there will be a 0% growth. If we fall just one tenth of a percent, it is officially a recession.

THE BIDEN BLAME GAME

The poll numbers are looking great for the Republican Party. After seventeen months of the toxic Biden agenda, Americans are upset and taking out their anger on the Democrats. According to a CNN analysis, the Republicans are in the "best position…at this point in any midterm cycle in over 80 years." The big problem for the Democrats is President Joe Biden. His poll numbers are akin to the approval ratings of President Jimmy Carter during his disastrous term. On the critical issue of the economy, Biden's approval rating is 28%, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll. Overall, among Americans, his approval rating is a dismal 33%, This matches his all-time low approval rating.

BIG GOVERNMENT WILL NOT SOLVE BIG TECH PROBLEMS

Both Republicans and Democrats have issues with the power and influence of “Big Tech.” Unfortunately, to derail these mammoth corporations, reckless “anti-trust” legislation, the American Innovation and Choice Act (S. 2992), is moving through the U.S. Senate at lightning speed. It will make whatever problems exist with this industry worse.  This legislation is authored by U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and, if passed, will surely be the centerpiece of her next presidential campaign. Her involvement in promoting such legislation is not surprising, but what is disturbing is that some conservative Republican Senators such as Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Tom Cotton of Arkansas, and John Kennedy of Louisiana, have lent their support to the bill.
