Are Enormous Speaking Fees and Huge Donations Really Camouflaged Bribes?

We all know that taking money from someone by a politician or a government official in order to get a favorable government action, is a felony and is called a bribe. Well, suppose the payment of money is in the form of an enormous speaking fee to a spouse or a generous donation to a certain charitable foundation that a particular politician or government official runs or has an interest in, should that be considered a bribe or a “quid pro quo”? Does that sound like a situation that the Clinton's are involved in?

You Can't Polish Horse Manure!

Every time another damaging item of scandal comes to light about Hillary Clinton, a gaggle of Hillary idolaters and sycophantic media pundits fall all over themselves in making excuses for her indiscretions and lies.

United We Stand, Divided We Fall!

That phrase has been attributed to that fabled Greek story teller, Aesop, and by a passage in the bible (Mark 3:25) which stated, “And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand”. As a Republican, I think that phrase has enormous meaning, especially in the upcoming presidential election.

Like it Never Really Happened!

That's the advertising phrase , “Like it Never Really Happened”, that the cleanup disaster company “Serv-Pro” uses to remind customers of their services. To hear and watch the media talk about the presidential campaign, you'd think that Hillary Clinton has led an exemplary life with little or no conflicts of interest or breeches of law.

Blinded to the Facts!

Whenever I write about liberal Democrats (of which I was one many years ago), I am constantly reminded of a phrase that sort of describes them to a tee, it goes like this; “They are blinded to the facts by their loony liberal ideology”.

Hear No Evil, See No Evil, and Speak No Evil

This maxim or proverb, that originated in 17th Century Japan (using 3 monkeys as symbols), seems to apply to the Obama Administration and to Hillary Clinton. In the Western world, the phrase is often used to refer to people who deal with impropriety by “turning a blind eye” to it, or as someone with a lack of moral responsibility by looking the other way or by feigning responsibility. Do Obama and Hillary meet that criteria?

An “Amnesia Stonewall”!

How can so-called very intelligent politicians, who seem to remember anything that might get them votes, suddenly get a case of an “Amnesia Stonewall” when asked questions about certain situations by investigators pertaining to their jobs or positions that they hold.

“Figures Don't Lie, But Liars Do Figure”

This proverb, that has been attributed to Mark Twain, has some real relevance during this presidential campaign season. Both major political candidates have accused each other of lying. Is one right, or are both? Is is one more prone to be called a liar than the other?

People Who Live in Glass Houses

The famous expression is: “People who live in glass houses should not throw stones”, which means don't criticize other people when you yourself have faults and weaknesses of your own.

Who's The Enemy?

It boggles my mind that some conservative G.O.P. members would vote for Hillary Clinton or not vote at all if Donald Trump gets the Republican nomination. That's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. They totally ignore Reagan's “80% Rule” which states that a Republican should vote for the Republican candidate who agrees with 80% of what you believe. Whether you love or hate Donald Trump, I'm sure his views would meet that 80% plateau as compared with the 0% that Hillary Clinton (or Bernie Sanders) has spelled out.

Symbolism over Substance

No matter where you look or what you see or hear, some people are trying to make things seem better or different than what they really are. That is the tactic of putting “symbolism” over “substance”.

George W. Bush Made Me Do It!

Bernie Sanders has been verbally hitting Hillary Clinton about her vote in the Senate giving Pres. George W. Bush authority to go to war in Iraq. She has claimed that, in hindsight and in trying to appease the left-wing of the Democrat Party, that she made a mistake and blamed, as usual, Pres. Bush for spreading false information.

Is Hillary's Private E-Mail Server Her “Kryptonite”?

For the past 25 years, Hillary Clinton (and her husband Bill) have avoided being held accountable for the various “crimes” that they have committed, in their blatant attempts at gaining wealth and power, because it seemed that they have been coated with “Teflon”. Most everything was hushed up, mainly by the media and flunkies in the Democrat Party, as they went merrily on their way to amassing power and wealth along the way.

There's Not a Dimes Worth of Difference!

We all know that Bernie Sanders is an avowed Socialist, but what about Hillary Clinton and Martin O,Malley? Both Hillary and Martin say they are “Progressives” thereby trying to sanitize what they really are, “Socialists”.

What's at Stake - The Supreme Court, that's What !

Whatever candidate you are supporting, the main thrust of that support should be - will that candidate support nominees for the Supreme Court who will interpret the law (as written in the Constitution), and not make the law?

What's the Difference Between a Socialist and a Democrat?

Just recently, both Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, and Hillary Clinton, Democrat candidate for president, were asked that headline question, “What's the Difference Between a Socialist and a Democrat” and the question was met with a “burst” of silence. In other words, they didn't know the difference. I don't really blame them because there really is no difference.

Would You Want Hillary Answering the “Red Phone” in the White House at 3 AM?

That's a question that the voters are going to have to answer this next presidential election. Do you think Hillary would be head and shoulders above any of her opponents if that phone would ring? Does her past indicate that she has the “smarts” to handle the problems that most likely would be at the other end of that phone line?

Should the U.S. Ban All Firearms?

If you listen to President Obama and most of the Democrats, we need to pass more gun-control legislation in an attempt to avoid another mass shooting at another college or on a soft, vulnerable target like an elementary school, a movie theater, or a shopping mall. In fact, many of these anti-gun, liberal“progressive” individuals would like to see all guns banned and confiscated, the sooner the better.

“Political Correctness” is the Bane of a Civil Society

What is “political correctness”? A popular definition is: “Political correctness is considered to be an unwritten set of rules by unelected nosy busybodies who determine what you are free to say under the guise of tolerance, as set down mostly by liberals”. They (the P.C.liberals) are the judge, jury, and executioner of the words and actions of what people say or do.

Should Babies Born to Illegal Alien Mothers, on U.S. Soil, be Automatic U.S. Citizens?

That arrangement is called “birthright citizenship”. If an illegal alien pregnant woman comes into our country and gives birth on American soil, should that baby get automatic U.S. citizenship? As of now, we grant citizenship to babies born on American soil, but no where in the U.S Constitution does it state that we should do that, contrary to what some might say.
