Some Of The Lost History In The Civil Rights Movement

Today we are hearing how Republicans and Conservatives are either the party of racists or that they are racists in general, but history proves a different story. This rhetoric is being pushed by those on the left and is being used as a tool to divide people. The real history is no longer taught to our children and so many adults have fallen prey to this rhetoric without actually doing the research to see if it is actually true.

The Consensus, Is It Always Right?

The verdict is in, we do not need further debate on the issue of so called man made Global Warming or Climate Change. After all a consensus of scientists and activists say that man is the root cause of any change in the weather, it is because man is evil and the use of fossil fuels that the earth is set is on a path of destruction. From the recent storms in the Midwest and South, to the recent heat wave that the majority of the country is experiencing we have those that would like to equate shifts in weather patterns that once you look back in history you will notice that have occurred throughout time.

What Is The Plan Of The Democrats To Move Forward?

We have been seeing a lot of demagoguery , smear, and misinformation coming out of the Democrat party over budget proposals and budget cuts/reductions, but we have yet seen a definitive plan from the Democrats to how we will turn around this economy and reduce the overall debt burden.

Your Absence Is Revealing

Though it has been expected, it is no less revealing that the silence from those on the left over our involvement in Libya and the double standard on issues that are raging in this country. While it may be true that a few on the left are now starting to voice their opposition to President Obama's decision to use military force in Libya, we have yet to hear the same rhetoric that prevailed when President Bush decided to take action in Afghanistan and Iraq. President Bush was accused of entering into an illegal war even though he went to Congress to gain approval by vote to not only authorize force , but to fund the military involvement. President Obama on the other hand has done neither of these steps and yet the absence of the left addressing this is more proof of the double standard that we are exposed to in this country.

Is “This What Democracy Looks Like?”

Is “This What Democracy looks like?” Is It Really Freedom Of Choice Or Freedom To Intimidate. Is forcing someone to do something that they may not want to do actually Democracy? Isn’t freedom of choice an inherent right in America? We are hearing the Chants that, “This Is What Democracy Looks Like“. Is going to someone’s home such as an elected official because you may disagree with a vote that elected official made really a founding principle in the Democratic form of society? Is forcing someone into a Union just to have an opportunity to make a living a real principle of freedom in a free society. I am not asking these questions to bash the Unions or its members, I am asking them because we are hearing that this is supposed to be what some would consider a version of Democracy and others may not.

Facing Harsh Realities

On March 23rd, 1775 speaking to the Second Continental Congress , Patrick Henry gave his now famous speech , "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death!" In the speech he wanted to emphasize to all those who were in attendance the importance of breaking away from Great Britain, and how it came down to living in slavery or fighting for the chance to live in freedom.

Don’t Jump To Conclusions Over A Senseless Act

With the tragedy that took place in Arizona of the shooting of Congresswomen Giffords we are starting to hear the call for a tamping down of political debate. That is the last thing that needs to occur and cannot be a premise to institute forced institutionalized censorship of events and issues that are widely disagreeable to the public.

Disregarding Facts Of History To Advance Divide

I would hate to consider that a sitting congressman might consider inciting racial division. Whatever the motives to Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr.'s statement about the 3/5th clause, one has to question that if a sitting congressman is so uneducated to such an extent that we are truly in trouble with those we elect to office. The media on the left have been getting this issue wrong for some time now and it is imperative that the truth about this clause in the original version of the Constitution be understood.

Braving Historical Fact Over Emotional Chains

The great sucking sound that you are hearing is not only your hard earned money being sucked up at a rate that is unprecedented, but it is also historical truth and the dangers that are associated with how this may be more destructive in the overall picture. For many years now generations of children have not been taught the factual truth and we have witnessed the results of adults not being able to tell fiction from truth as a result.

Moving Forward Or Mired In The Past

History is a very fickle thing, it is one of the only things that no matter how much you might want to rewrite it the facts in the vast body of work is set in stone. We can blame this and that, we can look at the many factors that goes into what got us to this point, and we can debate those things till our faces turn blue. What many fail to do when all they want to do is stay divided and blame this or that is not look at what will move us from this point forward.

2011:  A Year That We Can Reject Those Who Want To Divide Us

In 2011 we have to reject the tactic of divide that is being used by the Left. Race baiting and how it continues to attempt to take the high ground when their own history tells a different story. The Tea Party is not Racist and to have a United front in preserving our Republic we cannot allow for these tactics to be used, or to fall into the trap of having to defend ourselves time and again because we disagree with the policies of the current administration.

Realities of life is not always getting what you want or think that you need, but embracing and enjoying the things that you already have. The enduring love of a family member and the kindness of a friend are things that money cannot buy. These are things that we overlook in our quest to have what may be popular at the moment, they become overlooked when we evaluate what makes up our personal realities.

Has The 13th Amendment Truly Brought About Freedom?

- Drumbeat of Liberty Will the Media make mention that the 13th Amendment was ratified on December 18th, 1865 abolishing slavery? Will the Media make mention that it was the Republicans that led the charge in passage of this Amendment? Will Those who are revising history to meet an agenda truthfully report that it was not the Democrats that were the champions of freedom to a large segment of the population? Will it be told that they worked in opposition to civil rights and were at the time the most ardent supporters of hate related crimes upon another human being? Over time the dangers of revision history has changed the perception that Democrats are the home for African Americans when those of this community should fully examine this political party and the factual history that surrounds it.

Technological Advancements: A Path To Freedom Or a Path To Serfdom

As science and technology advances at an incredible rate are we in danger of losing the sense of morality that is the bedrock to our existence? With each advancement we are witnessing scientists play "God" with what will be introduced into the very fabric of what it means to be human. Nano technology, Artificial intelligence, robotics, cloning, designer children, and the miniaturization of computer technology that could be introduced into the human body. Are we sliding along a dangerous path or are we taking the next steps in the evolution of man?

Alternative Energy For Climate Change Alone

As you are aware there are many factors involved in the overall debate of climate change. The emphasis that it is a doomsday scenario and man has created the invocation of hysteria. Climate change is over played and is lent to "nudge" you to believe that if we in the United States drastically change our ways while ceding to the up and coming nations that somehow we will save the planet.

When we look at what the term Welfare State means we need to understand that it refers to a state or political entity whereby the state assumes primary responsibility for the welfare of its citizens. To have a welfare state stay viable you need to have a burgeoning economy, without such you set up the forces for disaster economically. Many are under the illusion that globalization will herald the end of the Welfare State with such forces as increased trade, capital mobility and labor market flexibility factored into the increase in equality of living standards in under developed nations and in developed nations.

Once upon a time we had a great uncle who was there for us in his own subtle ways, he may have overseen some of the things that make us tick and he may have asked for our assistance in return in times of need. Today that uncle has been slowly replaced by mommy dearest wanting to bring about complete control over our lives in less than benign ways. Oh yes this is slowly occurring no matter if we would prefer to keep our heads buried in the sand over the fact that we have allowed for it to occur.
