Orwellian verbiage

It was brought up to me that the politicians of the world may or may not be aware they’ve been caught in a lie. But, they keep following the old saw paraphrased: if you tell a lie, tell one big enough and often enough so nobody actually believes anybody could tell such a whopper. Therefore it must be true. Joseph Goebbels was a cheerleader of the Holocaust based on this theory.

It just doesn’t work

You have to wonder at times if it does any good at all to speak out against what you see as being either offensive or outright dangerous where it comes to politicians. I mean, REALLY! It’s ridiculous how people can witness acts of an outright perfidious and treacherous intent and nobody gets upset in the least; unless it’s to claim racism, a hate crime or you’re just plain stupid because you don’t see it their way.

It CAN happen here

In an effort to confuse and astound, a Louisiana State Senator has introduced a bill to require that NO tax bill be passed and accepted unless 20% of the voter base casts a ballot for the institution of the tax. The bill’s sponsors said SB200 would save money and stop the enactment of laws not having public support. That makes it immediately fall suspect before the jaundiced and cynical vision of such far-seeing commentators.

Hypocrisy on a grand scale

Obama spoke in Belgium. He offered his view of world events (Ukraine and Crimea specifically) and spoke nobly concerning the goals, dreams, aspirations and ideals of free societies around the globe. He minimized Vladimir Putin’s power and abilities. He bypassed the reality Putin’s efforts are a result of Obama’s personal weakness and duplicitous stance on the rights of individual nations such as Ukraine, on downward to the rights of individual citizens here in America.

Testing The Mettle

The word temporal dates back to the 14th century. It refers to the terrestrial, the earthly and lasting only for a period of time. It expresses an understanding man is a temporary being. He lasts for only a short time in the overall linear timeframe encompassing what we know exists. We live, we contribute for as long as we exist and we die. We’re NOT as powerful as what we perceive as being everlastingly omnipotent. It suggests a smallness of the individual to be enhanced by the appreciation of that which is unimaginably large or longer in duration.

The eunuch

Paraphrasing Brendan Behan: Obama practicing diplomacy is like a eunuch in a harem; he knows how it’s done; he’s seen how it’s done, he’s seen it done by others, but he’s unable to do it himself.

Ethical Winter-set

Imagine you’re an explorer sent by your king to find new lands, claim them for the crown and set about developing the exploitation of the resources found there. Now imagine, as you stand on the beach of a land displaying a trove of wonders you never before thought existed, and you, an interloper, a stranger in paradise, plant your standard, declare before your god and fellow explorers that you claim this virgin territory for YOUR god, Your king, Your country and Yourself.

We’re watching the worm turn

Have you ever watched a worm turn? It’s fascinating. The contortions, the twisting and wriggling, the chance to see an animal uncomfortable in its position and circumstances of the moment causes it to move in a manner only describable as non-linear chaos. Such is the case with Senator Diane Feinstein.

When things gang aft agley

I sent out a column yesterday titled: “Reefer Gladness”. There were a total of 777 words in this column. There was ONE (1) word out of place in a statement made in the column. One (1) word out of 777 and I have been hauled up short because I made a mistake. I admit it. I blew it and I’m sorry.

Reefer Gladness

Sung to the tune of California Dreamin’ © Mamas and the Papas:
All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray. I went for a walk to get my Congress spayed. I’d be safe and warm if they’d just go away. California Dreamin’, Barbara Botox, go away. Stopped into a church they made illegal today Well I got down on my knees but I forgot how to pray There’s no preacher bold enough to turn them away California Dreamin’ Barbara Botox go away. All the leaves are brown with pollution today I went for a walk couldn’t see the sky anyway If I wasn’t stoned, I’d find some sense today, California Dreamin’ I may choke today.

To change dramatically

A lot’s been said recently about: (clarion call for emphasis) “The War On Women”. Then things taper off until it’s mistaken as to whether we’re involved in a cease-fire or a capitulation by one side or the other. It seems more a bi-partisan effort by each ideologically crippled entity to capture, control and constrain the efforts of the other party to harness the being most responsible for human forward momentum. That human being is a woman.

Mother Russia – Russian Muthas

The headline on the Daily Caller site said: “Obama strikes against Russia, cancels June summit in Sochi”. I thought, “at last the man’s going to do something about the unrestrained and vile incursion of Russian troops into Ukraine, specifically in the region of Crimea”. Then I realized something very important.

America: Love it or leave it!

The cultural war conducted in this country, once referred to as The United States of America is being lost. In southern California, because of fears the open display of the American Flag as is often adorned on shirts and such clothing might offend somebody of another culture assimilated into the American culture. The personal rights of individuals seeking to express their cultural awareness and pride can’t express their pride because thugs on either side of the flags flown might want to fight.

One Wahoo glitch

One of the main planks in Conservative’s Platforms is the call for the proper oversight of welfare programs, funds and the qualification requirements for participation in the programs. We want reforms in welfare and other entitlements when they are abused by recipients. One of the Ten Commandments is: Thou shalt not steal and taking taxpayer funds you’re not entitled to is stealing; or at least it used to be before Progressive politicians started redefining not only the definition of the word but the commandments as well.

National Insecurity

The NSA (National Security Agency) says it’ll continue skulking around our internet accesses and entries whether we like it or not. And, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) says it really has no nefarious intent behind its desire to enter news rooms across the nation. It merely wants to know:

Planned obsolescence

In order to keep myself aware of ALL that’s happening, I visit different sites on the web. One “headline” caught my eye: “So Long, Stainless: Whirlpool® Introduces a New Finish For Premium Kitchens!”

A Rebel Without a Clue

After watching John Boehner fold (again), and after enduring his prepared, watered-down excuses for failing to challenge the status quo of Democrat dominated proceedings in the House, I must say I wasn’t surprised. Boehner’s voice is less than thunderous. The sound is belied by a foul odor’s presence. It’s another fart he’s uttered more than a lightning strike. His whiny delivery explaining why there weren’t enough votes to do anything but offer up a “clean bill” concerning the debt ceiling was typical of his white-feathered past.

The Hypocritical Oath

There’s always been a misconception the Hippocratic Oath holds the concept of “to do no harm as the first and guiding principle. It doesn’t. In fact the principle isn’t even part of “the Oath”. It’s noted in a segment of the Hippocratic monograph known as Epidemics; and even then isn’t noted until the fifth paragraph.

Creating Young Pioneers

When I was a kid, just slightly post-Pleistocene, I was told how the children were the responsibility of the state in # Russia. All children attended state-run schools and all children wore the same uniform: shorts, white shirts and red scarves. I believe they were called “Young Pioneers”. This organization still exists in Cuba. There’s something about the image of children driven into queues and herded into politicized activities publicizing a bunch of control freaks’ dogma. This is what’s happening in America. In # Russia and Cuba it’s called the Young Pioneer Program; in America we call it Common Core.

Camouflage is his favorite color

I don’t watch Obama when he speaks. I read the transcripts after the fact. I do this because there’s always the possibility a person such as Obama has the charisma to twist words in a mercurial and slick manner so it seems ingenious as opposed to disingenuous. The guy has the ability to advertise dog crap as smelling good in comparison to the reality. This is a characteristic of many great politicians: Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin, Mao, Nixon and others.
