Politics: Oregon school thinks students need a 'white privilege survey'

So I see that a high school in Oregon thinks it's a good idea to make students take a survey about "white privilege." It asks them if they would agree to statements like "I can be in the company of people of my race most of the time," or, "If I should need to move, I can be pretty sure of hassle-free renting or purchasing in an area in which I would want to live."

ObamaCare losses so bad there's no money to bail out the insurers

A few days ago, we talked about the continued disaster that is ObamaCare. But I thought it would be worth taking a close look at one specific aspect of this disaster, because if President Obama gets his way, it will cost you. Dearly.

Life is but a minute

Ten years ago I had cancer. After colon and liver surgery, and chemotherapy, I'm still here! That's God! God may not do the same for everybody, but if it is his plan, you just might have an extended minute. On the plane I sat next to a lady, Brenda, who was on her way to meet a dear friend who only had about a year or less to live. She had incurable cancer, and they were going on a cruise. It was on her friend's bucket list.

ObamaCare, HillaryCare . . .they don't care

Many voters don't remember the failed predecessor of ObamaCare. It was called HillaryCare in the early 1990s. Hillary Clinton was an unelected, non-official put in charge of a commission to design a plan to hijack the U.S. health care system. It failed when the public found out what was in it and pressured the Senate to abandon it, which they did.

It's time to stop white-on-white violence

Black-on-black crime statistics in some cities are staggering, and many prominent black voices just don't talk about them. Worse yet, they offer no real solutions to address the problems. Prominent white voices tread lightly talking about black-on-black crime for concern of being accused of stirring racial tensions, or being labeled a racist.

Sorry Hillary, Obama, Democrats and media: We are not stupid

The nasty, deceitful and wrongful name calling of Donald Trump to try to stop him has reached a new low. Democrats, liberal media types and the Clinton campaign are all desperate to distract from the substance of what Trump is talking about, because Hillary has no substantive proposals.

Trump goes supply-side, touts 4 percent growth to pay for tax cut

I’m not saying Donald Trump is Ronald Reagan’s clone, but I am wondering how the conservative intellectuals who insist Trump is “not a conservative” can keep saying that with a straight face. Especially so after Trump’s speech to the Economic Club of New York on Thursday.

Three reasons Trump is surging in the polls

The Democrats are sending out panicked e-mails these days. Those are fun to read. They're in a panic because they're afraid the horrible candidate they've nominated is in the process of blowing it again--just as she blew her "inevitable" coronation in 2008.

Democrat denials, distractions and lies

I know we have documented some of the Democrat denials, distractions and lies before, but the list just keeps on growing. Sadly, many Democrat supporters just look the other way, and it's not toward Republicans.

I introduced Mike Pence in Atlanta last night . . .

I was honored beyond words last night to have been asked to introduce Gov. Mike Pence when he visited Atlanta last night. And while he made a lot of great points in his speech last night

S.I.N. on steroids

Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has resorted to S.I.N. on steroids! What’s that, you ask?

Let a real CEO, not the media, tell you why Trump is making changes to his campaign

I always find it amusing when the political media try to analyze why changes are made to a candidate’s campaign structure. The storylines are always predictable: It’s a “shakeup” in response to “bad poll numbers” or “internal strife” or something along those lines, helpfully explained by people who have never had leadership positions in their lives.

Try economic prosperity math to pick your candidate

If I toss a term like "dynamic economic analysis" by you, you could be excused for thinking it sounds like a bunch of esoteric nonsense that college professors would sit around and talk about.
