Obama's Environmentalist Attack on America

Apparently the reality that America's economic output declined by 1 percent in the first quarter, retail and home sales are plummeting, and a record-setting 1 in 8 (or 10 million) American men in their prime working years between ages 25--54 aren't working or looking for work will be no impediment for a president determined to impose a radical environmentalist agenda on the nation.

The Post-Achievement Politics of Obama and Hillary

Occasionally someone pranks an unwitting MSNBC panelist or a bunch of teenagers by asking them to name a single Hillary accomplishment. Even though Hillary has piled up more awards than Charles de Gaulle, nothing comes to mind. An editorial in the Chicago Tribune has the writer asking a group of Chicago leaders the same question about Obama's foreign policy.

What real leadership looks like

In the commentary we posted on Sunday, we discussed the need of Americans to reassess their ideas about political leadership, and of what we really should be looking for in leaders. That is how we will avoid electing more people like Barack Obama who are shrewd politicians but have no idea how to govern.

Susan Rice: We didn't negotiate with terrorists, Qatar did.

This weekend, White House national security adviser Susan Rice took a break from her busy schedule of scouring YouTube for blamable videos, and sat down with CNN's Candy Crowley. You may remember Crowley as the "journalist" who likes helping floundering Democrat Presidents score points in political debates. Crowley wanted to know if, in fact, the United States had negotiated with terrorists in its effort to secure Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's release.

Predicting the Weather? The Climate? You're Kidding, Right?

With some of the most sophisticated computers and satellites at its disposal, the U.S. Weather Service cannot tell you with any certainty what the weather will be in your area two weeks from now. It’s not that they don’t give forecasts beyond that a good try, but when you have to work with computers that cannot determine cloud formation and cover, significant factors, you have to just make your best guess.

The Fighting Hawks at D-Day

Eileen Cosgrove, The Fighting Hawks at D-Day This is not good, thought Christopher as he looked around him. Smoke lingered in the air from the mortars and gunfire being fired at the landing fleet. Suddenly, they were drenched by the cold water of the English Channel, as a German shell exploded next to their landing craft destined for Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. It was June 6,1944. Wags, Will and Jack had parachuted into Normandy earlier this morning. Had they survived what was sure to be a death-defying jump? He had been down this path before, and the only outcome that was certain was that people died: good, decent people. Their mission?

Maria Kneas: Perilous Times & Biblical Comfort

Maria Kneas: Perilous Times & Biblical ComfortMaria Kneas: Perilous Times & Biblical Comfort Official government documents say that Evangelical Christians are potential terrorists, and the American Family Association is a hate group. Christian nurses are being forced to assist in performing abortions. A Christian baker has been threatened with prison for not baking a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. America seems to be in the early stages of persecution. In addition, many of our Constitutional rights are under attack. The answer to such problems is neither conformity nor compromise. Rather, it is to believe and obey the inspired Word of God. Perilous times & Biblical Comfort" will help you understand the challenges of the times that we are living in, and show you some Biblical principles for dealing with them.

Power Plant Rule Fails Administration’s Own Cost/Benefit Test

The Obama Administration has released its 645-page proposal that mandates existing U.S. power plants reduce their greenhouse gas emissions 30 percent below 2005 levels by the year 2030. Experts knew that such a rule was coming, and last week the U.S. Chamber of Commerce released a study outlining the huge costs such a measure would pose on the U.S. economy—including an average of $50 billion in forfeited GDP every year through 2030.

Missing Women in BC

While Canadians naturally recoil on horror when confronted by the recent new of widespread rape and murder in India, they would be well advised to look closer to home. Mindset Responsible for Turning Search Warrants into Death Warrants, SWAT Teams into Death Squads

“A government which will turn its tanks upon its people, for any reason, is a government with a taste of blood and a thirst for power and must either be smartly rebuked, or blindly obeyed in deadly fear.”—John Salter How many children, old people, and law-abiding citizens have to be injured, terrorized or killed before we call a halt to the growing rash of police violence that is wracking the country? How many family pets have to be gunned down in cold blood by marauding SWAT teams before we declare such tactics off limits? And how many communities have to be transformed into military outposts, complete with heavily armed police, military tanks, and “safety” checkpoints before we draw that line in the sand that says “not in our town”?

Obama’s Odd Passion for Illegal Aliens and Military Deserters!
