$90,000 a day for private consultants to find “savings”

If the elected government does not have the expertise to find those "easy" cuts that will save the $40 billion or so in deficit spending, perhaps it should not have run for office in the first place. If indeed, this government requires the help of private enterprise to determine policy and direction, perhaps the wages of the PM and his cabinet could be docked to pay for this lack of expertise.

Who you gonna call…..Obama busters!

It seems these days as if ghosts and wild monsters are roaming down our halls, and crashing everything of value onto the pavement. It is one Obama and progressive hit after another, while the ‘Rules for Radicals’ confusion and chaos wagons circle the people so fast that no one knows which disaster and lie to focus on. As we roam to and fro just trying to survive our dizziness, a herd of progressive stampeding elephants charge through the room. Not enough of us notice the elephants and the bigger, bloody carnage.

Another Dalton McGuinty Green Energy Poster Child Confirms Layoffs

TORONTO — Months after an Ottawa Citizen expose showed that Dalton McGuinty was greatly exaggerating the number of jobs at green energy companies across Ontario, the McGuinty Liberals have seen their green jobs agenda come unraveled. Following the revelations this week that workers were brought back to a solar panel plant just for Dalton McGuinty’s photo-op, another of Dalton McGuinty’s success stories is facing difficulties.

Voter Suppression

The low provincial voter turn out (approx. 50%) is a gross insult to the memory of those who gave their lives or became a casualty in one form or another during military service in all our armed forces in all the conflicts they served in to protect our democracy.

Ontario 2011 Election

Ontario is at the 'cross roads' of fiscal success or fiscal ruination. The voters at this election time have a clear choice. McGuinty's tenure in eight short years has taken the Province of Ontario from a economic jewel to a economic disaster zone. McGuinty has failed this province and precipitated our economic problems by destroying the private sector over his undying support of big government and union loyalist. McGuinty's mind set is that any and every problem can be solved by an other government program, and more spending and tax increases.

Creamed Chicken, Buttermilk Cornbread, Carrot Cake

You know, Deb and I love to cook. Looking back at my family for example, everyone I remember did. Granddaddy was an excellent cook, and his wife, Granny Margaret was too. Mom’s mother, Nannie Murphy could put on a clinic as well, when it came to putting food on the table! Mom is a great cook, and absolutely loves to cook for her family and friends, still today!

Getting serious about overcoming Islamic terrorists

If I was an official in the Department of Homeland Security or somebody else responsible for security in the United States during the upcoming 9/11 weekend I'd keep an especially close watch on the college football game between Michigan and Notre Dame on Saturday the 10th. It's a very inviting target. Nothing is more American than Michigan/Notre Dame. Well over 100,000 people will be in attendance at Michigan Stadium and the game will be televised nationally. With security being very tight at 9/11 commemorations all over the country striking at an event like this and killing as many people as possible is a logical alternative if you're an Islamic terrorist, homegrown or otherwise.

Party at the ATF Celebrating Gun Control?

Colorado --I'd love to tell you that I'm inviting you to a party in your honor, but unfortunately, I'm not. There was a party in Washington, DC last week to celebrate..taking your gun rights away. No, I wasn't invited. And neither were you. Just federal bureaucrats celebrating gun control. You are reading that right. Whistle-blowers at CleanUptheATF.org tell us there was an actual party at the ATF to celebrate gun control. Just to add a little salt to our wounds, the party was thrown with our tax dollars.
